Watching this because of Li Qin/Lin Wan'er. After watching her act in The Song of Glory, I become her fan ?? I have no regret to watch this til the end. The plot, the cast, the revenge, and even the romance between the main leads is great. The only thing that I hate is the ending. Seriously, why not make it longer. I'm afraid the season 2 won't be as good as season 1. Zhang Ruo Yun/Fan Xian did a great job tho. His character in this drama so genius, strong, gentle, very caring, and everything so interesting to watch. And Xiao Zhan ???
Read some comments, what's with the downgrade at Wan'er. Her character may the weakest one, since in this drama she is the female lead, yet her scene isn't as much as she should get, not very memorable if I could add. Also the romance in this drama seems not the main point, since I just found a few moment not much, yet I still found the chemistry between Fanxian and Wan'er is great. As much as I love strong female, independent one, still I against if Fanxian cheated on Wan'er or have the thought to loving another women beside Wan'er. Hope Fanxian and Wan'er will end up being together in the next season.
Currently watching this. At first, judging by the cast especially main leads, this drama looks promising. Yet the more I watching it, the more I find this drama is boring. The plot that bothered me the most. Also the male lead's act in this drama is just so-so. I like Dilraba. I find her act in costume drama looks great. This is the first time I watch her act in this modern drama, and I think her act is fine. (Tho I prefer her act in costume drama. Don't know why.) She looks beautiful, as always. One thing that keep me watching this.
