Memory Loss! FFS, bloody Kdrama. Luckily the characters executed their parts so beautifully that I disregarded that terrible amnesia trope.
Overall a brilliant Drama with impeccable Acting, some really original situations. I personally LOVED the complexity of her situation and emotions after she started to suspect Hyun Soo.
Making the Accomplice Hee Sung was a complete fail for me, it overcomplicated the story and was quite frankly ridiculous.
Am I the only one annoyed by the 2nd last episode, regarding police's incompetence and Hyun Soo's actions... continued…
The writers shat the bed with the last couple IMO. Because the first dozen episode have been so strong the jump into cliched, over the top and incomprehensible dramaland scenarios have left me so saddened. This was gearing up to be my favourite of 2020....
Real Hee Sung being the accomplice is so coincidentally far-fetched, and will have to wait for the whole coma/identity story to decide on that particular level of absurdity.
Also Classic Dramaland Policing.
The Head of a Major Human trafficking Ring with direct ties to Serial murder cases gets one miserly guard so he can do the old "help me I want to strangle you in a busy hospital when no ones looking routine." The fact that he still had the photos in his pocket was a nice "I didn't even get searched" touch.
The fact that they don't tail Yeom Sang Cheol/his men or keep tabs on his building... Their sting operation didn't even include raiding his building.
A by the numbers zombie/action flick with undeveloped generic characters, shallow predictable storyline and overwrought manufactured sentimentality. Most of the film was highly questionable but the end was downright farcical.
I actually liked her scenes, I love seeing her getting agitated. The one who portrays her is a such a great actress~
I just feel like her default is set to Bitch and its grates on me. Shes been living with this lie for 18 years now and she still blows up at the slightest little thing.
However... The Scenes where the cops "tried" to arrest the taxi driver was awful. It leads me to believe that none of them had any prior training in apprehension of a suspect.
Telling the young officer to stay with the car, not smart but I suppose not completely far-fetched.
Leaving your one remaining partner to single-handedly fight a known killer to go find your husband. This is not good policing.
I have never seen a worse takedown manoeuvre, puts the guy on his back, get him in a headlock, exposes his whole body, gets stabbed. Policing 101..not (terrible writing all for added suspense).
Then to top it off, young cop pointing a Gun at a Murderer with a knife, who's just stabbed your partner btw. Then just watching as he moves down to the floor and takes stabbed partner hostage made me jump out of my chair in frustration. IMO terrible writing in an attempt to again add more drama.
I don't know if I can continue watching after the latest episode. Everything is so devoid of sense, I just get angry after every scene. Every time Jung Jae Hyuk appears its vomit inducing(every time he smiles I want to smash my screen). There has to be a limit to his unrealistic character and actions. I get that he's unstable but please, so over the top.
Breaking and Entering, and destroying her place to go "The pass-code was the same so I felt like we were still together?""So Im looking for a photo....""I think we might be over?" And she let him off to continue being psychotic and damaging to her and Kim Hae Kyung's life. Hint:Restraining order.
I thought his clinic was quite exclusive? seems anyone can book an appointment and he has no idea who his patients are gonna be. The whole end scene at the clinic was so upsetting and only found in the poorest scripted Kdramas of the world, mentalcase makes doctor angry, doctor attacks patient, medical journalist present, Do Hee present, cue DRAMA!!
The friend/costumer/cousin might be the dumbest character ever, He's the most clued into the situation and yet..."So Jae Hyuk sounds ill, I know! I'll call Do Hee and tell her that he doesnt know if he should be telling her this(no you shouldn't you idiot, just go check up on him yrself!)""So I thought Jae Hyuk going to see your current boyfriend would be really good for his health". Most insensitive non-straight guy ever..
Jin Noh Eul spewing nonsense to Do Hee on the roof, telling her to mind her own business as she tries to steal her Man.
I love it when the leads are together, its so light and playful, They're both adults but feel like teenagers again, they've found that shy innocence of romance in each other and its really fun the watch and yet somehow feels like a side story...
Both Exes spoil the lighthearted fun romantic mood of the show, turning it into a frustrating watch. Their shameless possessiveness of the leads has overshadowed everything else.
I can't stop watching it over and over. Its so rich in character and story and dialogue and emotion. What impressed me the most though was the acting, understated yet poignant.

Still the Best KDrama I've seen in 2020.

The only real problem I have is the Angry Overacting Fake Mother. OTT and such an eyesore.

The pain vastly outweighs the joy.
