what shocks me is that she is one of the few that isn’t actions in her first role… but the scene where Zee called her to say that he knows who attacked him was bad… like really bad. and overall her character pisses me off… idk if it’s the acting per se or if it’s as always a poor female character in a BL

this is not a comment about the story, but i think the author of the book said that this story was always supposed to ba a bromance of two young men solving cases and stuff. to be fair i felt the first time they saw eo was a very untamed - esque.

i like how this story reminds me of the first BL i watched (and i started some times ago). light and easy without some of the stuff that nowadays are everywhere in BLs. clearly it’s different from most of the things we are used to watch in this last years… but i like it

so I’m watching this drama and there is a character that really bothers me: the senior doctor ex girlfriend. not only she acts jealous when she doesn’t have any rights to be (she is the ex) and she meddles into his life like they are still together, but she said that thing about not caring about the death of a patient. it’s true that a doctor doesn’t have to be to much affected by it, but we have to ask ourselves what went wrong or what didn’t. what we could have been done different to help other. so no it doesn’t end when a patient die because if that happened we would have never changed protocols in order to be better. and announcing the death of a patient by text? really? now i don’t now how things in china are done, but is unethical to inform of the death of a person by text, so yeah i really really dislike her.

i actually prefer this one… i feel they gave a little bit of depth to the other character and (but that’s probably because TayNew are already a well known couple in the BL world) I feel like they have more chemistry than the og actor (probably they weren’t as comfortable as a couple that knows each other and that has already done a BL together)

it’s more a combination of my dislike for the character and due to the fact that it’s the voice of a character that i dislike i dislike also the voice. but no hate whatsoever to the voice double and/or the actress. I don’t like the character and I usually watch series while studying so liking a voice is very important to me

this episode broke me. nothing else to say

the thing is the chemistry was chemisting (if you know what I mean) and I felt like the editing did help in that way (like when they were in prison it looked like an episode of a dating show and with the almost romantic music). either way, I would love to see them as a couple in a drama, maybe as a “villainous couple” or as a gray couple (they worked so well during the Go game)

I feel like having to work with people that can think and have an opinion about what to do is way more difficult than having eight people that follow your lead.

with the step brother and psychopath is my new favourite way to describe the protagonist of H4

I’m at the episode (whoever watched the show knows what I’m talking about) and it felt so much unnecessary: I get the problems with the father but I don’t understand why you should do something to someone you love And the mother knew…? I’m okay with the step something trope (bother and brother, sister and sister and brother and sister) so I really don’t get why the author felt the need to have that scene. And the music choice… it’s like “oh we put a nice and romantic music and boom consent”. It doesn’t work that way.

did it hurt less after finishing the episode even thought i knew the ending? no, it didn’t

that’s the thing that bothers me the most with the series: even though I genuinely like it, it feels so counterproductive to ask a pro jujitsu player to play a complete different sport as if he could play like his brother when he clearly can’t. it is ruing his, his brother and the entire team career for what…? because his mother wanted to become a volleyball player?

Now, don’t get me wrong I love twins series, where one of the two has to take the others place (like, Not Me is my all time favourite BL) but I feel like is a little bit counter productive to ask a pro jujitsu player to play like a pro volleyball player just to not ruin said volleyball player career, and by doing not ruing only the volleyball player career, but also the entire team and the other career. like, couldn’t just talk to the coach? anyway, I still love it

As probably others said it’s because it’s a co - production. Look here I found the series “Drops of Good” and I really don’t know how much of a Japan production it has, but not Giri/Haji. So I don’t rally know how they decide to put something or not. I wanted to say something about the oversimplification of the plot: as a fan of the OG work I get that it could feel like they “americanized” but I kinda also get why they did it: cost of production would be like sky rocketing high if they put everything that was in the East Blue saga on the screen. I quite enjoyed the plot in the end, it flowed kinda well (making Garp and Arlong some villain that were present throughout the season) and it made it more TVish (I hope I made myself clear, English is not my first language). This is not to change your view of the story, just to give maybe another point of view.

I like it because it is light. I watch to many heavy stuff, this was exactly what I need.

I’m on episode 12 and I kinda like it. it’s not You are my Hero, but I find it way more enjoyable that Fireworks of my Hearth or A date with the future. a nice romance for the ones that likes romance, doctors and firefighters

there are some things that made sense and lots of others that doesn’t. still nd enjoyable watch
