💯agree. I watched it on another site same problem. Subs are absolutely terrible 😂. It looks like the conversations were subbed using a voice over translator 🙈. Nonetheless I couldn't resist as I was looking forward for this. With my poor understanding of Korean and the 💩 subs I managed to get the gist of the conversations so I could follow what was going on. Hopefully it will get subbed properly soon or maybe Viki can pick it up 🤞As a last comment, however, still I want to thank whomever did the subs for the initiative. I guess if it was not for this person I couldn't watch it 😉
Even the book that was given to Ha Young is named "Mindhunters"
The drama per se is based on a non fiction book of the first Korean criminal profiler together with a journalist, based on their field experiences (source Wikipedia) so I guess the origin of establishing such a unit derived from that book too, that's why the reference to it was highlighted in the drama too.
To add onto what @melissa said, I also think when she said that she hopes that if he sees her in the next life,…
@eternalsunshineofthespot he did pressure her in a way because I think, that as things stood than, that was the only option left for him how he could protect her. However, amid the pressure he put on her he gave her a final choice, to stay by his side or to leave without seeing each other again, and she told him herself that she freely chose to stay.
To add onto what @melissa said, I also think when she said that she hopes that if he sees her in the next life,…
@reiko Agreed. Knowing how much he dearly loved her, she knew how her death would not be easy on him (if one looks back when the master scribe died, and although he was angry at him, he still was devastated by the news of his death) she tried to protect him till the end in her own way. That's why she had to bluff one last time.
Can someone elaborate, What Kyunghee said to Yi san Abt the bluff part frm Deok Im's side?!
She did loved him very much, to the point that she chose to be by his side, however she willingly tried to hide her feelings from him, since that was the only thing she had control on and keep to herself. She knew that by accepting his offer she lost everything she had to him, and that love for him was the only thing she could keep for herself. That is why she bluffed and pretended not to love him
So, not Dae Jin, not Goo Young... Only Il-Hae is left. And he's up the mountain with GY and YK. Wonderful. Unless…
Agreed. My wild guess for my suspicion is that he's the grandson of the elderly couple that died that day in the shelter and he's getting his revenge on the survivors because they left them behind and died.
I personnaly perceived him moreso as selectively mute than chosing to not speak (given he did speak once -if I…
I agree. When he was caught off guard when rummaging through the trash he screamed a clear scream, so yes I guess it's selective. Also, by projecting himself this way, I guess people tend to be more open to speak in front of him.
I guess that time Lee Sang Yoon actually met real Mi Na. They clearly mentioned her mark on arm and that peanut…
I think that he really met the prosecutor at the hospital that time. In his dialogue he said that he met her by chance before they were introduced. I'm looking forward if they will give a snippet of their formal encounter since I believe that the real Mi Ma will be confused why he acts that he knows her already. Moreover, I guess the real Mi na although she was in hospital she was on a tight leash and wouldn't be allowed to wonder about the hospital so freely. If I understood correctly the prosecutor was also in the hospital, the girl in the red tracksuit.
Looks like someone else also know that there's a Rat in NIS. (The one who sent him the morse code from opposite…
I'm suspecting the overseas director, the one who recruited him as when they were on the ferry he told him something along the lines that he does not need to go far away to look for answers.
Before she disd she has to wish for the doom of the world. In return he can grant her a wish before she dies. However, if she does not make the wish for the doom of the world before she dies, the person that she loves the most at that time will die
The original timeline is the one where the father is alive and president.
However, this gets distorted and someone changed the past where the president is killed.
In the first episode, when the president let pass the emergency vehicles there was a mentioning of some technical failure of the services too. So my guess is someone got the ability to communicate with the past and thus started changing the events. Obviously someone who through these changes gained more. Maybe the former president, the one who was accused? We will see.
On the second technical failure now our FL gets the same ability so balance/things will be restored.
Therefore, we have two people trying to control/change events. Thus the changes that happened during the first attempt. As someone was instructing the shooter to move differently from the original plan.
The reporter in the current timeline is dead because somehow the other person's discovers that he is helping her and therefore to severe the link and not to be able to change anything he is killed.
The death of his brother bugs me. The reporter insisted that he did not commit suicide. So murder. He was an aide in the president campaign. Did he discover/stumble in something bad on another candidate and so he was killed for that?
Let's see. I'm enjoying it and with only two episodes in, my mind is already going in circles trying to figure it out.
The first episode. I assume there are 2 versions of timeline between 2015 and 2020: the bad one (father is assassinated)…
In the first part of the first episode there was an accidental when the president was in the car and let the emergency vehicles pass through and if I recall correctly there was a mentioning of a technical fault that caused problems to the services too and this was before the changes were made to the 2015. Maybe someone else got the same thing that can connect to the past and now they are changing them simultaneously with her. Or is too far fetched my theory ?
