I can’t get over the setting of their married home in the end. It brings full circle how they have old taste as they are old souls :) I loved the furnishings.
It would've been better if there was a second season with a storyline of a reincarnated female lead meeting the male lead again so season 1 would focus on their storyline in the 19th century.
19th century male lead was more interesting than the modern one tbh.
It's hard to get reincarnation right. The modern version of the characters felt appropriately different and yet had some similarities to their personas from their last life. Great acting and writing.
I just completed this asadora in a couple of days and I loved it. However one plot point I did not get was...
Why couldn't Hoshino-san and Tsuneko-san have come to an agreement about once his children are grown and neither gets married, they could be together in Tokyo?
I hope Chen Ruoxuan is cast as the male lead considering he played the character in LBFAD :)
19th century male lead was more interesting than the modern one tbh.
