I AM IN LOVE. This is one of the very rare times where I love the male lead and the female lead as characters and as a couple (likely to happen in the future). Right from the start, the audience is meant to see these 2 characters as PEOPLE. The male lead is not one-dimensional, yes he is conventionally attractive and popular BUT he doesn't care about it, and therefore, the audience doesn't. He's more than a pretty face and we are meant to think so too. The audience is supposed to notice his heart from the get-go :) and we definitely do.
I did not expect this storyline! I thought it would be a typical overly logical guy getting with a way too emotional…
ALSO- some people thought their logical conversations were not romantic (I get that) and ridiculous (I don't agree) but I think it matched their personalities well AND this show brought up a great point. Things don't just work out because you communicate well and love each other. Love is not enough and there is a difference between marriage and dating. People have expectations so I thought it was great they wanted to work on their relationship together.
This is a really good show. It seems like a typical boyxgirl opposites attract dynamic BUT actually.. it isn't!
I did not expect this storyline! I thought it would be a typical overly logical guy getting with a way too emotional dreamer girl. They are actually more alike than different but that isn't apparent in the beginning. The show also brought up social issues in an interesting way- through their conversations about what it means to be in a relationship and marriage.
So because Xiayou is reborn as a fish, does this mean she can't have a human body? Happy about the ending but a little disappointed we didn't see them together together.
Loved this continuation of the storyline. Can someone let me know if there are plans to create another special or season? Ayase Haruka's character is so endearing. It would've been nice to see her have another love in her life or raise her grandkid.
Can someone help me understand one aspect of the show? Suzuki is not supposed to be the most perfect guy, I understand…
..honestly the continuous mentioning of him fantasying about his student freaked me out. Yes, he made a conscious choice to not "step over the line" but I don't agree with the show basically just attributing his attraction as morally wrong but not really something he should get therapy for. Like why isn't he more freaked out about his attraction? She is a child point blank.
Hello! I haven't been able to watch the most recent episodes with English subtitles. I've never had this problem before. Could someone recommend a site to watch ep 233?
Request - If anyone has access to Viu, can someone check if the episodes are still being subbed/aired?
