I'm absolutely okay with no consummation if there is some logical reason for it. In prisoner of beauty, the families are basically enemies and he was not that keen on marriage in first place. In youthful glory, I would still be fine if it's a proper contract marriage, so they are not expected to consummate. But it's kind of weird, because the FL has been chasing the ML soon after marriage, but he has not shown any interest as such. It doesn't make much logical sense as to why he doesn't want to bed her. I guess the writers/ director could have portrayed it in a better manner to make logical sense. It was uncomfortable to see the FL chase the guy soon after marriage, it seemed like a one way street.
Just to be clear, they have still not consummated their marriage even so long after marriage right? Am I the only one who's bothered by his lack of initiative on that front? Wonderland of love is one of my favourites, and I love how the ML is obsessed with FL and his attraction shines through. Whereas, here the ML "loves" the FL but is not really interested in more. Almost like he was finding excuses to not do the deed, like contract terms, or injury etc. Feeling bad for the FL :(
i bet she start fall in love with ML after he saved her the night before their marriage? after married she instantly…
But I don't understand why he is not interested in her physically at all? I find his behaviour after marriage really strange! I almost believe FL that he is impotent.. poor FL.
I don't like when Ex (second leads probably?) are not even in cast and then bump on the screen out of nowhere…
Yeah also the coincidence of randomly liking his daughter and the whole mudflat superhero coincidence and then her confiding her crush to this guy in the car out of nowhere! So very cringe!
I skip all scenes with the second leads - absolutely don't care about them. literally a waste of time
Same... Skip skip the second couple.. and honestly moeum character is getting on my nerves, she is too excessive.. Beginning it was funny but now it's annoying! It was so creepy when she started liking this random kid (who happens to be his daughter)! And then the whole mudflat superhero storyline and then her explaining this crush to him in the car was all so super cringe and TMI!
I don't typically tend to drop reviews on dramas but I had to rant about the FL character in this one. I'm dropping this at episode 6 as I don't expect any redemption in her character from the comments here. She's right up there as one of the most annoying characters in dramas I've ever encountered. She's so selfish, bratty and continuously harasses the ML for reasons that are not under his control. The scheming, lying, and cheating she does is something you'd expect from potential bad guys in drama. And the worst is the ML does not even learn from these experiences. He keeps forgiving her and she then goes and does something even worse. Extremely entitled, bratty FL with evil actions.
lol see I'm the exact opposite, I have no interest in the secondary story and don't particularly like either of…
Yeah well, I don't particularly like any of the men in the secondary story.. They both seem like asses, who have treated her badly.. I'm kinda watching their story for redemption. To see them grovelling for her love :P
This has got to be one of the most boring k dramas I've ever watched. I was so looking forward to it, since I love both PBY and SIG... But what a disappointment! Normally in such cases, I just drop the series.. But I'm actually very invested in the secondary story...I am literally fast forwarding through 95% of each episode for those tidbits of cha joo ik and na ji na.. I wish they would give us more of that story line.
I think I'm literally the only person in the kdrama universe rooting for Kang ha na... I'm so happy with this episode.. She ends up saving the day, locking up all the bad guys..Things I loved about episode 14: 1. When chairman baek said she had sources in politics and police, Kang ha Nas badass threat asking her to do so, since she wants to lock all of them up. 2. Kim do ki and Kang ha na at peace with each other.. Each have understood the others point of view, and have compromised enough to trust each others methods. 3. Kim do ki dialogue when ha na asked him if he trusts the system now.. "No, but I have complete faith in you"... My word! <3 I'm so looking forward to the upcoming episodes where they will work together.. I'm totally shipping them after this episode.
