the problem with shuangshuang and xiaobai is that they settled for each other. Shuangshuang wasn't even xiaobai's first or second choice, she initially gravitated towards zhihao and re neng, however, they were both into other girls. For shuangshuang the girl closest to his ideal type is yingge but because yingge and re nang were pretty much "locked" as a couple, making him a third wheel in episode 3, he decided to give it a go (maybe out of curiosity?) with xiaobai, who's personality and looks are entirely different from his ideal type. As shuangshuang started being more attentive toward xiaobai, she started developing feelings for him, but he slowly started realizing he can't force his feelings and doesn't see her beyond the friendship level (kinda curious how much they interacted off-camera tho). I don't think they would have made it anyway cause xiaobai doesn't believe in long-distance relationships, the realist in me totally understands her, but long-distance relationships require so much more effort and if your partner doesn't believe in it, what's the point? You both need to have hope for it to work.

the wuhan trio crying made me laugh so hard just the way they were crying and the comments, seventeens "I can't cry in front of the camera, I'm a rapper" and shuangshuang's "from now on no one can sleep." Reminds me of when I was at camp or on vacation with friends we would always make a pact not to sleep the last night so I totally feel for them but it was just too funny.

I hope Xiao Wu finds someone outside of the show, I've heard some of her previous exes haven't been good to her and I think she deserves a happy ending. I don't know how a fight between re neng and yingge would look like so I could totally see it ending them. Tbh with these kinds of dating shows I can see why the "success rate" is low. It's long distance when the show is over but you also lived 15-20days in a bubble, while on the show you have no obligations besides dating & having fun but once it's over you have to face the real world and maintaining these relationships requires more effort than what it was on the show

I really like xiao wu, was kinda disappointed she didn't give the new guy a chance but then again we only see short clips when they're together 24/7, and sometimes you just know something is not going to work out. Ever since the older twin got over sun xiu i like him more but the younger twin omg he's so slow and thinks way too much. Idk out of all the girls he likes Sun xiu the most but it feels like to him she's just the best of the bunch and doesn't really really like her. If you like someone shouldn't it be natural and partially impulsive, why does he have think so hard? so far he doesn't seem that into her, which sucks cause I think she's a lovely girl. Also I'll forever appreciate re neng and seventeen for their social skills cause they're able to make awkward situations not so awkward.

I like how the twins have integrated more into the group but I still don't really understand/like their thought process. The whole love triangle was so annoying to watch, even though I like sun xiu after a while I just started skipping scenes with the twins. I love yinnge and re neng idk some might think they're developing "fast" but they've been into each other since day one and clicked instantly. They both seem to possess qualities they're looking for in their ideal type. I really like their straightforwardness they know what they want and aren't afraid to express it. I also really like seventeen (linxin) it sucks his screentime got cut cause of the girl, but from what I've seen I like his throught process too. Xuejian and Shuangshuang are also nice individuals but I'm not sure how they'd do as a couple cause shuangshuang wasn't xuejian 1st or even 2nd choice .
