okay, I finished the show and watched it ongoing mainly cause of Dalun. Initially, I was going to wait until all episodes were out but then I saw she was getting a lot of hate so I decided to watch it (around episode 4-5) because I wanted to know why she was getting hate. After watching it, no one deserves hate; dalun did nothing (the problems between zhucai had nothing to do with her), caicai & zhuzhu had a clash in personalities &needs (zhuzhu needed someone who was patient and could coax her whilst caicai needed to feel secure and at ease). Caicai however, was fortunate enough to find another girl with whom he had a strong romantic connection, unlike zhuzhu, who couldn't.find Mr.Right. looking at things from both perspectives they probably did/said some immature things; maybe if caicai fought harder or zhuzhu was braver/honest with her feelings they could have patched things up, but just some things are meant to be and some are not. Caicai and zhuzhu storyline was wrapped up pretty well on the show so I don't get the dramatics + cailun endgame was spoiled pretty early on in the show. I'm happy things worked out with dalun and Caicai cause they looked good on the show (they were giving she fell first, he fell harder trope). If everything works out , dashu and Zuang will probably have an official announcement in the next couple of months. I'm curious to know if anything will happen to mumu qing, since she deleted all her socials I feel like we'll be kept in the dark.
its a dating show and these are real people + editing plays a part too, but yongwoo annoys me so much I don't want to talk about him. I am confused by Jiwon tho (i get that JH is similar to her ex blah blah blah) I don't understand why she has so many excuses for "not" picking JH but not yongwoo, like for JH it's constantly "he's negative/moody", "i don't know him that well" but she knows yongwoo well enough to get wavered by him??? Idk it feels like she's coming up with excuses just to reject jh. Also Jiwon is presented as someone who can read people easily, but can't read yw??? and yes I understand the participants can't see what we see, but , they highlighted multiple times that Jiwon is an individual who is very aware. Anyway, ig I'll have to wait till the final episode to see if it's editing or not, cause atm I view yj (her brother) more positive and mature than her when it was the opposite a couple of episodes ago. It's a dating show and I'm not hating on anyone for pursuing other people, I just dislike how they go about it e.g. yw & js. Jiwon excuse for jh is she doesn't know him well but somehow knows yw well enough? so is she being honest, or did she like yw from the beginning but at the time he was unavailable so she moved on but now that he's available she'll go back?

For me it was on par with tencent. I just rewatched the first 20min of ep 3 part 1 on Bilbili to double check and it was pretty easy to understand so idk.

Okay, first, so happy to see Re Neng and Xia Laoshi making an appearance they were my fav cp, was rooting for them since episode 1, and I'm so glad they're still together, especially since they were/are doing a bit of a LDR. I looked up the participants from season 2; Zhaopeng and Xinran are dating, Sun Xiu and Didi are still dating, and 17 is dating Nini (season 1), low-key would be cool if they did a mini spinoff with those couples. Anyway, it's still too early to tell with this season but I feel like Ge ( Ge Yupo), Feng (Qian Yifeng, and Ye (Ye Shuting) are gonna be in a love triangle for a while. The rest I'm not so sure, I wonder how the arrival of a new girl would shake things up. So far, I have a feeling this season is gonna be a bit messier with the love lines compared to season 2. Besides the romance, excited to see the friendships form.
The confession scene was heartbreaking even though we all saw it coming, we got a break from the influencer half-sister plot yay, and the tennis team bromance is slowly starting to thrive double yay!
I'm loving the fact that although sanchuan likes youan , he has a mind of his own and other priorities in his life. Idk he seems very much a real person rather than a character that's infatuated by the FL; He had to think about the final badminton competition as well as joining the tennis club, also youan explains it with reasoning, so sanchuan doesn't end up being like "I like you so I'm going to do everything you tell me to do". When he is busy and sees her, he interacts with her, but he is also the one that ends the conversation, he's somewhat showing that he's interested in her but so far he's not forcing it and he still has a life outside of her; the cp has a very natural, mature & realistic progression.
I really enjoyed the first 6 episodes. The cast is great, I like both leads, was unsure of the cp, but they look really good together, and with each interaction/episode their chemistry builds; In episode one I didn't really see it but by episode 6 it makes sense, and I totally get why they would end up together. The dynamic between san chuan and an cong is great and I hope they develop further. I'm also really enjoying the film editing and I hope the quality continues throughout the rest of the drama because I can't count the amount of cdramas I've dropped due to really choppy/messy post-editing.
I thought the courtyard element would make it more interesting, maybe it's the execution but the show is kind of boring. They barely have any dates, and when they do they're pretty dull. Also for a group that spends most of their time at home chilling (ig it's because of the weather conditions), they haven't developed a bond or a friendship with each other, at the moment only Didi and zhengzheng seem like they're friends.
how was it compared to other airing dating shows? is it worth to try or it's okay if i miss it?
I just finished it. Go for it if you're bored and have no other dating show to watch. There's no drama really, it's kind of like a healing version of transit love. Personally, I found it boring, I didn't get invested in any of the contestants. The first couple of episodes were entertaining but maybe it was the editing because a lot of the interviews and potential pairings felt unfinished. Maybe I'm stupid but it was unclear why they completely "dropped" the person they were initially pursuing and started pursuing someone else. One episode they'd like someone, they'd progress, and everything was going great. Then the next episode they'd like someone completely different with 0 explanation and/or conclusion as if the previous episode didn't happen. There were just so many gaps.
