This is really good, well-paced and keeps you guessing from the start. Excellent acting and great chemistry. Can't wait for this to be subbed so more people can watch it.
A short-length series featuring face (and hence identity) swaps, this drama has a surprisingly coherent and consistent…
Fully agree with your assessment of the FL, she plays the character so bland! I wish their roles had switched and we got to watch the original actress's take on this character.
Distracting; the actress who originally plays the FL is much stronger and more compelling. Post-switch, the FL is bland and lacks connection with the character. I'm on episode 8 and not sure whether to continue.
Stole my attention when she appeared in The Killer is Also Romantic lying on the tree branch drinking from a jar of wine. This is the kind of FL I want to see! Smile Hu did an absolutely fantastic job with Yang Ze in that one.
It was going at a good pace till episode 16-17, then suddenly new characters were introduced and I lost all my interest. I could close an eye at the ML saving FL trope but then they chose to switch out the supporting cast completely. Couldn't get back into the show.
A decent watch, the acting brings it to life (especially by Zhou Yu Tong, but also Song Weilong in one of his first dramas, and the supporting characters too)! Definitely nowhere as bad as the review makes it out to be. The initial episodes are a little cringey, but the story really starts to hit its stride beyond episode 6. I enjoyed it.
FL spends the whole season trying to break off her arranged marriage with ML. There are a few sweet scenes but on the whole I felt it dragged a bit too long, was just her trying ways and means to get ML to divorce her. There were a few more emotional scenes in the last episode, wish they brought this earlier into the series and then they can end off with some scenes where FL finally falls in love with ML. Still, it was interesting watching ML outwit her gently throughout.
Definitely well-deserving of his leading roles, he comes across like he's been acting for years. Very natural and very good emoting on screen. Looking forward to his future projects!
Awww really? I love her and was looking forward to this.... Someone give this girl a good script. She's such a…
I can't figure out if it's the actors' lines or plot, the scenes are weak and the stakes don't seem high enough, and there haven't been many meaningful character moments yet. Compared to Ancient Detective or To Get Her that manages to flesh out their ensemble and give them memorable interactions between one another.

She had such a strong start with her other dramas, even the ones that looked really spoofy like Psychic Princess. I'm going to give it another try but I've almost dropped it about three times already and I'm only on episode 6.
Very disappointed that after waiting for so long this is Huang Riying's next drama. The writing is very poor, lacks suspense and relies heavily on cliches. One of the minor actors (Yan Zi Xian) acts better than ML, wish they had a love line instead. I was wondering at the lack of BTS couple clips but it's probably due to the lack of chemistry between the main leads. I have no idea what ML is trying to convey in his expressionless face and method acting.
So many positive reviews, yet I am finding myself really struggling to finish this series :( Not sure why....…
I enjoyed the beginning but ended up skipping a lot of scenes towards the middle and end. I really liked the natural acting of the leads in their scenes, and I liked the second couple, so I skipped the misunderstandings and enjoyed the cute scenes together and the last few episodes.
I'm on episode 14 and things have slowed down a lot after a promising start, especially in the last couple of episodes. Can I find out when things progesss a bit more (e.g. FL starts to fall in love with ML)?
