Really, I was at first shocked by the violence and the sexuels rape but I could appreciate the movie because all is acting and woooh so well acting ! Amazing actors ! ( and I'm weird too I love dark movies/drama)

I have a lot of to say, this movie is awesome, great cast, acting, costumes, music and good story of course !
My opinion : this end is not the best because I think all is finish when the King castrated Hong, how he can continue to live ? He is not a man anymore... And the king in his madness have no limit he killed Hong's friends guards (them who helped Hong to escape in the end) their love life is just a mess, no future other than die together !
So I propose an other scenario, the king would had to say to Hong " I want you sleep with the queen but I'll be present too , threesome baby" and I let's you imagine the rest ;D

oh it's harsh :/ I disagree, the storyline is not that bad, homosexuel relation aren't easy in real life, often in bl drama all is beautiful and homophobic don't exist, in tharntype, it's different, I think they have open door on some subjects which can create debate and see things othermind because all is not pink (goal of the drama) (like you I desagree a lot of behavior, it's sad, it have to don't happend...).
I respect your point of you, all of people can express their feelings, it's a good thing ;).
