Hmm, that is temporary weakness that can change. Share division is a fact that cannot be changed without consent from both parties, and legal processes. Emotional power dynamics can change at the drop of a hat. So if NDS ever is angry or hates SDM, then power dynamic will come to full play.
They both lied actually, so equally at fault. It's not worse, and i'm already written countless post about this whole lying scenario.
That's the thing, even the intention doesn't come of as genuine.
Look at episode 9-12, the writers have been trying their hardest to make NDS more relatable, and showing his good intention, but just about nobody is buying it.
The writers showed NDS good intention way too late, and it's past the point where people will change their thoughts on him.

Yeah, passionate is just an excuse for volatile, unpredictable people. The show romanticizes unhealthy relationships. The main reason a lot of fans do not like NDS so much is because he is what is wrong with Kdrama right now, the toxic relationship he has with SDM is being romanticized. If NDS did not look the way he does, most people would not be swooning over him, and that's a fact.
