Kdrama is not the best at dealing with continuity errors.

For some reason, Kdrama always shows the SL as alone, because they fear that showing the SL having happiness takes away from the happiness of the main couple.

For example if the SL marries a rich girl, while the main couple are both poor, then it's not considered a good ending.

Kdrama writers don't want there to be any doubt the FL did not choose the right guy, so they almost always opt not to give the SL another love interest.

Yes I agree with you. But we are talking about which man helped her grow more in terms of confidence and character growth.

And keep in mind i'm neglecting the fact that fake dosan, HJP, is responsible for the confidence SDM even feels in the first place, as said by her.

Also, as good as SDM is, it is not realistic for someone like SDM to suddenly be an amazing CEO, I always felt this was unrealistic. You can't just youtube, or read books, and suddenly become an amazing CEO. CEO requires more than educational background, it requires extensive work experience in the necessary field or at least similar fields.

HJP has gone past the mentorship boundaries. I think this is obvious.

He answered in detail 461 questions in one go. This is already what is beyond what is required.

I'm not saying SDM didn't grow by her own, she did.

But i'm implying that her confidence increasing is more a byproduct of Nosy HJP than supportive NDS.

Feel free to include how you feel NDS made SDM more confident or helped her grow? I don't remember every single scene, so I may have missed some.

A constant theme in the explanation is how HJP is the reason that NDS had to be dishonest.

It's HJP's fault that NDS was stuck in this predicament, and could not be honest with SDM.

Those are characteristics of a villain.

A good well written character, elicits sympathy.

A poorly written one, actively begs for it.

That's what I hear, which would make sense, since the time skip is 3 years.

Let's talk about NDS and SDM growth.

Some people insist that NDS and SDM are strongest when they are together, but let's examine some facts.

NDS Grows Stronger.

1. NDS becomes more confident due to SDM supporting him.
2. NDS breaks glass in morning group due to his protectiveness of SDM, same reason he confronts WIJ.
3. NDS gets all these great ideas for Noongil from SDM.

SDM Grows Stronger.

1. SDM speech was corrected and fixed by HJP giving her a more polished presentation during hackathon.

2. SDM has the upper hand on morning group and able to show WIJ she's a bad ass. HJP suggestion to record meeting.

3. HJP mentors SDM of course.

In terms of personal and career growth. NDS benefits a lot from having SDM in his life. But SDM actually benefits more having HJP in her life.

I'm not saying that HJP and SDM are end game or anything. All i'm saying is that throughout the series, if we were to examine which person has been most important in the other characters growth it would be HJP helping SDM grow and SDM helping NDS grow.

1. Ok, first off people began to follow KSH AFTER seeing his role in Start Up. You make it sound like people are biased for HJP because they love KSH. KSH actually gained fans from his portrayal of HJP. When it's actually the opposite. NJH is a bigger star than KSH, so if anything fans are biased FOR NDS because it's being portrayed by NJH. I want to clarify that first off.

2. HJP remembers the name, but he of course didn't recognize her, because it's been 15 years, and he never formally met SDM even when they were younger. He follow SDM to see Grandmother, not because he is randomly stalking some stranger. Try to remember that Grandma sold her old shop, so technically HJP doesn't know where Grandma lives now.

3. NDS started as an innocent, but he quickly change into accomplice, and eventually mastermind. At one point, the lies were on his own volition. Keep in mind the excuse that it was his first love is not a good excuse. If a man stalks his ex gf, can he argue it was his first love so he is being selfish and we should justify it as ok?

4. Interesting you point out that SDM gets stronger, but I think you are misunderstanding the source of that. NDS get's stronger as you say because SDM makes him feel more confident, but SDM actually gets stronger not because of SDM, but rather because of HJP. I can explain this further if you send me a personal message. But I do agree SDM is the victim.

5. How is HJP self centered? what evidence do you have?

My apologies I stopped reading about 60% of the way, because you made a fool out of me. You initially touted your comment as unbiased, yet all I see is a hard NDS bias. I initially thought you were planning on coming up with an unbiased view here, but all your doing is painting NDS as an angel and HJP as the devil.

Reread what you wrote, not once does NDS seem like he is doing anything wrong, and anything wrong he does is justified. While HJP when he does wrong things you vilify him.

You can't paint one character as black, when your painting the other one grey. If grey is included in your spectrum, both male leads should be in it.

Hardly an unbiased view.

As much as I love the personal attacks, toxicity, and name calling against me. I have a little suggestion to you, a little life lesson if you will.

Which part isn't true?

I'm writing what I saw happened, i'm not making this stuff up, so i'm not sure where you are coming from.

In all honesty, i'm trying to understand what your writing, but your thought process is not coherent, but I can barely understand the point your making. I'm not trying to be mean to you, just honest. I feel your trying to make a point, but I just don't understand. Maybe take the time to rewrite it? You can send me personal messages too if you want.

All I get is your a NDS fan, and don't like HJP fans. Got it, well noted friend.

I think there is some misunderstanding on the quote from HJP where he offers to be SDM's plan B.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

From HJP's point of view, him telling SDM about wanting to be his plan B is no different when he told NDS he will be the plan B.

Basically, he feels if NDS or SDM knows there is a plan B, they will be less pressured. And as he has said earlier, less pressure allows them to be less nervous and perform better. It's a logical way of looking at things.

I don't think HJP was thinking, I want to be the hero here and get points. Because if this was really his intention, he would not have allowed Cheul San and Yong San to stop him, because personally telling SDM he will be the plan B is that grand romantic gesture.

NDS though didn't see it this way. In NDS mind, it's HJP wanting to weasel his way into SDM's life, and he's not going to let that happen.

That's the thing, the only one who can handle a NDS, is a female version of NDS.

For NDS he is going through my first love and my first crush all at the same time.

For SDM, she has already had her first crush, and first love moment with fake dosan, so she doesn't feel as passionate about it.
