Yeah, pranks and I have been talking. I'm still considering watching this one cause KYJ is one of the younger…
Hahaha, you know what's funny, I was also about to write Gay Club as well, but after reading articles and news on a day to day basis, I try to be as politically correct as I can, because people get so offended so damn easily these days. The protest happening in the US right now, i'm so opinionated about it lol.
Hmm, I don't understand how cable works in Korea. Are TVN, OCN, JTBC and etc... like Netflix, where you pay a monthly fee for each one? Or are they like part of a cable package, where if you pay for cable monthly, you get all these channels?

You know that's the weird thing. I actually didn't find KTEM boring, like I never felt the urge to yawn when watching it.
I think probably because half the time, I was skipping the romantic scenes between LG and TE, or just laughing out loud at the more absurd scenes, plot twist and character development.
haha, your mom sounds like my mom. She also emphasizes the actors/actresses have to be pretty or she won't watch it. She just wants easy watching, nothing too complicated, just easy to watch, and with good ending. Although back in the hey day of Kdrama so many had such tragic endings.
I'm in the millenial age range, so I want more from my dramas, which include better story, acting, and complexity. I think the older generation doesn't really search for these things in what they watch.
I have a different approach to Kdrama, and TV shows in general, I don't just watch to pass the time. I really can get invested in the lessons the show has to teach, it's portrayal of human behavior, and the stories of trials, tribulations, and romance they have to tell.
In the end i'm a romantic, and chemistry is so important to me when watching dramas.

LOL, that's hilarious. I get it the older generation and the younger generation have conflicting taste. My mom and my taste in whose handsome and not are quite different.

haha, Thanks!
I'm really liking CLOY, at first I thought it would just be over hyped, but it's pretty good.
Probably going to skip backstreet rookie, and move on next to MPB.
Oh all the baeksang nominees, i've already watched WTCB (which I loved!), Watching CLOY, which is really great as well.
I'm missing stove league and the world of the married. My only concern with TWOTM is that i've seen doctor foster, and it was brilliant, so not sure if this adaptation will stay faithful.

I think i'll wait until the rest of it's ok not to be ok is done, then I can read some reviews before I start, but seems interesting. Hopefully not too scary.

lol, I am a scaredy cat. I have a hard time sleeping after watching those korean suspense movies, and I tend to overthink like crazy.
For my sake, let me know if I can survive watching this lol. I thought it was just some typical melo similar to GHJ it's okay that's love. Suspenseful psychological thrillers tend to make me think and overthink and get scared lol.

For me, I thought the 1st episode was really good. But then there's a substantial drop off, I really like the KS and Reaper scenes though, and thought the reaper and chicken girl romance was sweet.
This is where my dislike for KGE was born. I'll be honest, I though the girl from Big was cuter than KGE's character, and I hated Big. KGE tries too hard to be aigoo, but seeing her in her school uniform, and her acting all nubile was just boderline creepy.
I appreciated that GY tried to make his character more childish, but it didn't matter, their scenes together, and their kisses had me creeped out while watching it.
Did you not like all her shows? KES I mean. Goblin and KTEM are the ones I've seen.

LOL, I didn't outright hate goblin, I rated it an 8, most of that is because of KGE dragging it down, but I'm a big fan of LDW and GY, their bromance is legendary, it's also what KES tried to do with LG and JY, but failed to do in KTEM.

Oh great, then you can watch kdrama without subtitles, that's great!
Itaewon cases, you mean the sudden spike of Covid-19 cases that started in some homosexual bars in Itaewon?
btw sounds like your living in Korea?
It was my first experience with Kang Ha Neul, but he was adorable in this one. I'm a pretty big GHJ fan though. I've watched so far 5 of her dramas.
Oh, why did you stop at 30 mins?
I'm really liking CLOY, at first I thought it would just be over hyped, but it's pretty good.

LOL, it's the first thing that came to my mind when you said Ahjussi. Hearing KGE say Ahjussi still haunts my dreams.
Can you spoil if she ends up with the older guy or younger kid?
