There is so many good looking guys in gmmtv it's almost impossible for me to choose who'd i cast, and also i saw somebody say chimon and nanon are too young, but actually their age is closer to the characters then most of the other actors there. And i have absolutely no idea who they'd cast as the female lead, i don't think any of the girls from sissy suit the role, except perhaps jan, she reminds me a lot of the girl who played shan cai, no other actress comes to my mind, i also don't think jane and namtarn are a good fit for the role, fon could pass, especially since she's so good at overreacting and after matching all of the remakes and the original, the FL loves overreacting, i doubt they'd cast mook or mild in this. I'm not sure Joss is a good fit for the ML especially since he does look a little older, but he is a great actor so i wouldn't mind, Bright might fit the role of other boys like the SL and the guy who likes tea ( i am so bad with names, i think he was ximen in meteor garden), but not the main role, all in all if i was casting i would probably cast: Lee ( i've seen him play as an arrorgant rich boy and a kind softie type of guy and he does it well, not sure if i'd cast him as Dao Ming Si tho), Bright (i liked his acting and his visuals are no joke and let's be honest in every version i watched the visuals were just IT), Newwie or Fluke ( fluke did such a good job in the shipper and newwie is just really good, i think either one of them would be good as the fourth guy) and now i dont know who i'd cast as the ML perhaps Joss or Mek, or even Luke( even tho i already said joss looks older i do think he's the perfect fit ngl) and for the female lead either Jan or Fon, and i'm pretty sure that if the cast an actress from gmmtv to play the girl that's supposed marry the ML they'll choose either Jane, Gigie or Aye lmao.
