Can someone who read a novel tell me two things: does the novel have happy ending, and are old Chu and young Guo…
I am currently reading the novel (33% into it) and have finished the series. I don’t like the series ending I feel it was epic lacking because of the censorship, so I am hopping the ending is better in the book. There have also been only few interactions between Chu and Guo so far, but between the interactions on the series and what has come up in the book they. are. ADORABLE! my OT pair for this is Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan, but Guo and Chu come a close second. I know it’s not much but I hope that help answer you a little.
