So started paying attention to the set and outfits of the characters as I skimmed watched, and I may be late... but I was like, "yo how cool each couple has their respective color from the rainbow". Then I proceeded to be like ROY G BIV...123 4 567... S,M,Tu Wed Thu,Fr,Sa... and I was like, "Oh"... I think might have found the plot y'all...lol
I'm again baffled by some of the comments seeing their past as kids as "weird". I find this reaction more weird…
Honestly, same. As someone who grew up on Disney Channel and ABC Family, now Freeform, these scenes are a norm. So why, may I ask, are people making it out to be weird?
So, was I the only one that was concerned with the fact that Sib, the child, did not seem to grow within those two years? Like, I get Gene, but Sib was the same height as a young boy for two years?
I wonder if sib already knew that gene was going back to his home then why didn't he try to stop him for good..…
A great YouTuber once said if the author wants the character dead, then they're dead. So, if the writer wants the character to suffer a momentary bout of stupid; thus, he shall suffer.
And it's still a very good episode. I disagree with a lot of the comments here. The last scene was beautifully…
I love the comments sections, especially for comments like these.
YES, completely agree. I love how this show is showing, rather than telling me the plot. It leaves much to interpretation and makes it so that the viewer pays attention to the subtleties. And subtlety is just what this couple is all about. It's the little glances and touches and small gestures that speaks on this relationship.
So, I found it quite expected that Sib wasn't saying anything and that Gene stormed out the way he did.
CAUTION Unpopular opinion: Completely understood Gene's reaction; of course this is all from the bit of flashback, his hysteric crying, Sib's nonexistent explanation and him storming off. In the moment when you are truly sad and truly angry sometimes the best thing to do is keep a distance. Attempting to stay and listen to an explanation you clearly don't want to listen to, just sets both of them up for an even greater misunderstanding. So, I do understand (somewhat) why Gene reacted that way. What I am upset about; however, is the fact that they spent so much time flirting with their sponsored products and texting, rather than showing us why Gene is mad in the first place. I mean I would have felt much better being frustrated with (presumably) little Nubsib's attics and Gene hysterically crying, rather than be left hanging and Gene still hysterically crying.

And also Pi is my spirit animal. I totally vibed with his inner rant at witnessing the confession.
That's the only explanation I could think of.
