Just curious, does anyone know why this title is categorized as a Special rather than a Drama?
It's anthology; so each season, up until season 4, they had miniseries within the series. HIStory 3 has miniseries Trapped and Make Our Days Count. Literally just went down a rabbit hole not even a couple of minutes ago...lol
I also think because they had extra budget from not being able to make one of the miniseries in HIStory 2 into a movie. Thus, they were able to expand the amount of episodes per "miniseries".
Then after HIS tory 3, from HIStory 4 they have been doing regular series with 10 long (20 short) episodes each.
Y'all don't @ me, but I'm enjoying season 2. Is Ji Woo frustating me; yes. Is my heart breaking for Seo Joon; heck yes. However, it makes sense considering how Ji Woo acted in Season 1. He's prickly, he has an inferiority complex. The entirity of his adult life has been him apologizing for things out of his control. So, boy runs away because of his inferioity complex and his conceived understand that one day Seo Joon would hate him too. Its very hard for people to except an ulternate reality, when that reality is opposite to what they have been living.
Could the writers have toned down the gloom, yeah. But, relationships are hard. And I don’t know about y'all, but sometimes a non HSM romance is more welcoming than a HSM romance
Alright y'all hear me out. I don't believe that Teh was attracted to Jai, nor was he attracted to Airy. Teh is attracted to a dream he had sewn for himself in his early years. He loves to be an actor, and knew that these people shared a similar want as him. What he has is a dependency on people who have the same love for something as him (acting/making it together). To clarify, what Teh did was cheating, but I don't think he loved or even liked (romantically) the people he ended up with after Oh-aew. He's in love with the idea of being on stage with them. Fighting for their dreams together. What Teh, lacks is the confidence to do it by himself. He can't seem to differentiate admiration for a concept or ideal, with romantic attraction for someone. Yeah so that's my take. Some may love it and some may hate it. But I know they did one thing well, they started a conversation and really had us conversing about the idea and morals of love. And all I can say is love and the route that follows, will forever be subjective. Best 💕✌🏾🥰 Also, Bas and Q would have been great partners, for Oh-aew, but I feel like if the writers went in that direction, they would have felt like stand ins.
You know at the half way mark where Oh says "fight for her" and his face looked like he said "fight for me". And yeah, Teh was incredibly wrong, but I feel like they could work this out.
