I think it's not about hating own gender or one gender. It's all about actors and characters. It happens all the time in other way round in other dramas.

I don't think we have a choice since it was adapted from a novel. I also prefer female centered dramas. This is the first time I wished it was a male lead focus.

The kiss scenes in general always make things better. In all dramas, viewers anticipated a lot on kiss scenes. It's normal. Here, they didn't cut kiss scenes of the 2nd couple. But, they cut the cheek kiss of main couple.
It would be only fair if they cut all the kiss scenes of all couples...

Why the cheek kiss scenes got cut? It doesn't make any sense while the 2nd cp kiss scene was aired already 😔 It is not the censor doing then. I get it in Chong Zi because of the age gap and Teacher-Pupil story. It's not the case here. I'm very disappointed.
