Ugh.... Another one. Hmm... Probably time to make a list of Toku actors and actresses I DON'T want to see costar…
And wow. I knew Kohaku was gonna get roles immediately after Donbrothers ended... But she already has 2.... She's on fire!.May not be long before she lands a lead role in a romance drama... Which means I HAVE to include her in my list.
Ugh.... Another one. Hmm... Probably time to make a list of Toku actors and actresses I DON'T want to see costar in romance dramas together and see how most of them come true. If this pattern continues I may stop watching Japanese romance dramas permanently... 😶😑😐🥴😶🌫️🙄😒😮💨😤😞😓😵💫😵
Dang, that opening sequence. 🤐😶😑😐😵😶🌫️ That totally caught me off guard. Igeta Hiroe is trying out all types of different roles and that's nice. But they seriously did not have to make her look that bland in the first episode. It gives the impression that someone can't possibly look good without makeup. I know that is especially wrong for her because her natural face is absolutely stunning. Also, why is Furukawa Yuki frequently paired with women who are that much (9-10 years) younger than her? That's become his thing by now. 😑
I can't believe my wish of Keito getting a main role in a drama was monkey-pawed.... 😓😞😤😮💨 Not just that, all three actors in the love triangle are Sentai actors! 🤯😵💫😵 What a number of years for Toku fans... What other kinds of couples in dramas will we have to witness?
Wow! That was surprisingly wholesome! Lighthearted and yet so sweet and meaningful. What a gem! One of the, if not the most satisfying Jdrama I've watched in a long time. I hate that it's over. I wish it had more seasons. Wasn't even one episode where I didn't feel emotional or end up crying. On a side note, I learned about Suzuki Jin. And that he has co-starred with Igeta Hiroe a bunch of times. 🤔🧐😲
Horror isn't really my thing. Checked it out for the actors and it's surprisingly entertaining. Not sure about the horror part, don't have enough experience to judge it. Loved the Easter eggs by Terasaka Raiga, as expected from a Toku actor. The story was interesting enough to keep me watching and seeing Tsutsumi replay the whole thing and then the twist was good, albeit slightly predictable. But I never would have guessed what Hayama Sumiko had intended. So 7/10.
For the curious: It is a hollywood film, but it is being co-produced with several Japanese companies. Chief among…
I'd like to assume that was pretty obvious. All of these foreign people most likely can't speak Japanese. I'm not saying I can't be wrong, or proven wrong, though.
Wow, this is off to a great start. Makes me want to check out the Korean one. If anyone has watched the Korean one, can you spoil the ending for me? I read in the comments that someone dies, is it one of the friends from the main leads' friend group?
Oh, someone please get it subbed. The official channel doesn't have subs yet. So either they should add English subs soon or a subber should pick it up. I wanna watch it, but can't if it's not wubbed.
Oh my gosh! That's what happened?! I totally didn't catch that. Thanks for explaining it to me.
I thought that was answered in episode 6. Uncle and aunt got the cooler moved by some workers and put the body in the cooler and put the ice on the body... Right? Or am I not getting it?
