Wow! I LOVED this drama!!! I was crying most of the time while watching episodes 6 to 8. I have NOTHING to complain about. Except, that I wish they told us about Mei's family. I found myself asking, "where was Mei's family when all of this happened, in the past and the present?". I would've rated this a 10/10 but I couldn't because of the reason mentioned above and the ending. So 9/10; GREAT DRAMA.
I started watching this drama because of the male lead's actor. After watching the first two episodes with subs, I was disappointed with this drama. The plot was not likable, the characters weren't good either. I totally hated the male lead. And after that I didn't continue this drama cuz I didn't like it and I couldn't find subs for it either. Then I recently watched the rest of the episodes without subs and finished this series. And whatever I could understand without subs, I felt was enough to me. This drama did improve when the characters' pasts were revealed and some of the things they did could be justified a little more. But it still doesn't get that much better overall. I still don't like the main leads. The only character that I end up liking a bit more was Yuka. For the first 4-5 episodes I hated Yuka, but then I didn't hate her as much anymore. And that's it. I don't hate this. But if I had to put it in a category, it's closer to being in the category of the dramas I disliked.
I knew this was going to be bad. I don't completely hate the drama. But this thing is FAR from likable to me. And the most disturbing thing to me was when Yuki moved in with the two. I got that Yuki was testing Risa from the beginning. So everything was well UNTIL that moment between Yuki and Hiroto. What in the freaking heck was THAT?! Hiroto hugged Yuki to erase the effect of Yuki hugging Risa?! What does that mean? And Hiroto said that Yuki LOVES him!? What does that mean? Yuki has actual ROMANTIC FEELINGS for his boss? Why did they have to bring that in AT ALL?! I was expecting some follow up on that one but they didn't even acknowledge it afterwards, like it never happened!! Then what was the point of that?! To CONFUSE the viewers??! That was the part I hated the most!?
She basically choses the band member who is the dumbest guy out of these three, but doesn't start dating him. She says that she can't date him now. I don't remember anymore cuz I don't have a good memory and I didn't like this drama very much.
Who else wishes that the female lead ended up with one of the other love interests? Naru had the most screen time with Mairu and was a really really great guy. So I thought they were really cute together. And I really loved Mirai after he stopped being a jerk and cold towards Mairu. But I think Mairu should have stayed with Mirai because he had so less time with Mairu and it was unfair towards him.
Honestly, I felt that the love story of the male and female lead was not well developed. The male lead's story itself wasn't nicely done. I didn't even feel that that he was the second most important character because of how less focus he got in the series. Considering that he was the main love interest, the male lead had only a handful of moments with the female lead. And I honestly didn't want them to end up together at all.
Honestly, I think the love story of the the lead characters need more work. There were cute moments, but there really weren't any moments where I truly thought that the lead characters were a nice couple. Even till the last episode, the male lead didn't have any romantic feelings towards the female lead, and I just wished that the female lead ends up with any other guy.
Ok who all agrees with me that the FL Sakurai acting is really irritating...it is not just this series, i hav…
I agree. Her acting is just over the top. At first, I hated the character. But then I slowly warmed up to the character, but I still think the acting could've been better.
I loved the series. Indeed, I liked this version of the story better. But, I'm not sure if I get the ending properly. What is their plan exactly? I'm not sure I get it. Can someone please explain it to me?
