I Don't think Mi Jo died in accident.What if it's murder?😑😐🤔
I believe so. And if I am not mistaken, at some point someone said that the chairman was capable of anything, even against his kids. Also flashbacks showed us Mi Jo going against his father expectations and desires, portraying him as a good kid and that maybe Hye Soo was in love with him.
pet peeves: the 2 brothers not communicating ..like you idiots you can finish the puzzle faster if you just communicate…
I guess the writer brother did not want to put his bro in danger. And once he was inside the house it would be even more dangerous to use the main phone and tell the whole story. On the other hand, the second bro probably did not want to disturbe his bro's "vacation", so he said nothing. That's my 2 cents so far but I do hope they work together as soon as possible. It will be fun to watch - and a major acting skill for the actor.
So far so good. I am really enjoying and intrigued by the plot. I guess I found out who recommended the writer and if I was in her shoes, I would have done the same thing.
Good start so far. I am fine with an epic revenge story to start out a bit slow and take its time to build up…
"Its too bad there apparently are so many young people on MDL recently making it hard to have proper discussions about dramas, since everyone seems to be suffering from ADHD/has the attention span of 5 year old kids."
LOL You had me laughing for about two minutes straight. My coffee even got bit colder cuz I was not able to drink it.
At first I thought that maybe this was due to different people having different opinions, but it is possible that age has something to do with it, specially when you consider that "pacing" and "action" are the major complaints.
So far, so good and I am really looking foward to the next episodes.
Just a question tho: the boss is ultra rich and has top notch security equipments - even a body scanner - but inside the house there are no bugs or hidden cameras, to the point the maids have to listen behind the doors and stuff? Makes no sense to me.
The same way there was no communication on the first relationship, there is no communication whatsoever on this one. Hell, how did they went from breaking up > getting back together > having no talking about feelings and insecurities > lying about dangerous accidents > marriage. No sense at all!
I already said it, but I'll say once more: Yumi had no development. To be honest, she regressed in behavior if compared to s1.
Man, I was disliking this season and after ep 9 I am seriously considering dropping it.
Since the first season the premise of the show was to show the emotional development of a young lady as she lives her life. Since we are about the same age I thought this was refreshing and gave it a shot.
I enjoyed s1 because I could she her growth both relationship and career wise. For season two I expected to see a more mature Yumi who has learned from her previous mistakes. Surely she would still do wrong, but the mistakes would be different and would not represent a throwback. Boy, I was wrong.
Needless to say how stupid was to give up on her job under current economy. On this topic the show just gave us a Cinderella happily ever after development, since Yumi, a woman who barely had training, practice or experience successfully managed to launch a book, making enough money even to make ends meet on Seoul!
About the relationship, what was that, really? He was interested. She wasn't. He gave up. She noticed. Then she was interested. How mature! So they started a relationship in which basically nothing happens. Ever. Episode nine arrives and she breaks up with him because a tiny bit of his whole being was swayed!? Mind you there was no emotional cheating, he did not fantasized about the girl, did not contemplate a life with her nor flitted. Nothing happened. At all. But Yumi chose to leave the house and not even answer her phone on Christmas, before having a proper conversation with him and asking what was going on, just because the girl talked to her!? What if the girl was lying? Shouldn't her 2-years boyfriend's words come first? I wonder what would she do if he had abandoned her on Christmas to meet his ex... Oh, wait, that was her last year. And, on that occasion, he chose to trust her. But I guess she can't do the same. Double standards, that's what this is.
Anyway, her boyfriend searches for her and eventually finds her. They talk and she still chooses to leave. Hell, he not once cheat, not on his mind, not with his behaviors, nor his feelings. It was a F tiny part that thought "hm, the girl is cute, but I love Yumi". This is absolutely normal, specially in long term relationships... Yumi, honey, grow up, will ya?
LOL

Edit: typo.
