Friends

On The Call Nov 9, 2024
Title The Call
What wasted potential! The ending makes no sense. And the story relies to much on shock events. Eventually it stops being thrilling. Overall, it did have great elements. Just poorly put together in terms of story.

I would like to suggest "Marry me, or not?".

Unlike in the dramas above, this friendship is not thriving. Rather, the focus is on two best friends who through some event were hurt and thus separated. Throughout the drama, they suffer because of this conflict and must find a way to communicate and eventually forgive each other. I think this drama qualifies because the friendship isn't simply a secondary side story, but it has a widespread effect on other relationships in the drama.

In my opinion, Cheese in the Trap doesn't qualify for SLS. Why? Because to judge SLS you need enough screen time and development to be given to both the SL and the ML. Only then can you fairly compare between the two. This is not the case for Cheese in the trap where (if I remember correctly) the male lead just blips out of existence somewhere in the middle and little is said about him. Who he is. WHY he is. While so much effort given towards the SL.
