I want to start watching the "Light On series". Should I watch them in a specific order or are they totally unrelated? Maybe watch them according to their release dates? Any advice would be useful.
Well, I don't know why you watched all four episodes with this negative attitude of yours. You obviously have a talent of concentrating only on the details you find annoying. For your information, nudity is valgar in a historical tv series only when your mind is vulgar. It's an accurate depiction of the era, it has a strong female lead, in the center of the plot, there are very few kdramas like it. So,spare us the negative vibe and drop it. Don't watch it any longer. It's not for you.
Lowkey is boring.Mad For Each Other had the comedy to spice things up in mental health genre,Kill Me Heal Me had…
You obviously shouldn't have watched it at all. You wasted your time cause you're definitely not the type to understand and appreciate this genre. So why bother? Watch only "entertaining things". By the way, for your information, not all series and films are meant to be entertaining. Yes, that's a fact. Some are educating, thought - provoking and meant to make us better humans.
There is a saying that Shakespeare used all the main story lines, and really the 19c womens authors created most…
It's your interpretation and you're allowed to feel that way. But we're allowed to disagree. Scarlet was a very rich, spoiled brat. The mood and the ambience were different. Here, the suffering is way more, and the leads are way more appealing. The fl is a strong woman, one of the strongest I've seen. Comparing two stories just based on the basic outlines of the four leads is a simple way of thinking. Here we have invasion and occupation, and oppression. Torture and inhumane conditions of life. GWTW was civil war. Is it the same? We all have our opinions and personal taste. You can't expect from everyone to agree with you. Do you believe that your rationalization is superior than others? It's only your subjective opinion. That's all.

I totally agree. It was a real struggle to finish episode 1, I forced myself to watch episode 2, saying that I have to be sure, cause it's Lee Min Ki afterall, and I've been anticipating for it, I mean I was quite sure that it would be good. Right? Hell, no. It's a total disappointment..... The story is a joke and all the characters are unrelatable, illogical and weird. Why would I continue watching this? I'm dropping it, cause I have better things to do.
No crime drama has been amazing since signal? and shadow detective is the exception? that's crazy. you clearly…
I watched Signal two years ago. And I am watching Tunnel now. I'm on ep 3. Signal disappointed me. Too many loopholes in the plot. A very open and unexplainable end. And dissatisfying twists. I mean the mere fact that his brother couldn't be saved was so dissapointing to the point it ruined the whole series for me. In general too much unexplainable stuff. I was actually pissed. But that's me. I'm me and you're you. I can understand why people like it. I've been watching police/crime dramas and movies for more than 30 years, so I can't be pleased easily. Even in time travel and fantasy genre, some things need to follow some logic. I also didn't like Beyond Evil. I agree. The villains were too obvious. They wanted us to think the ml might be evil, with his extreme acting and dubious behavior, but it was a dead plain trick, it annoyed me. I felt like I was treated like I have no brain or sth. And honestly I didn't understand why he got such a big award for this role. Yeo Jin Goo acted much better. For me the best so far, crime dramas are in no particular order, Mouse, Stranger, Through the Darkness, King of Pigs, Decoy, Victim's Game and Copycat Killer taidramas, Big Mouth, The Good Detective Chimera, Live, Awaken, Kairos, Tell Me What You Saw. Flower of Evil, The Lies Within.
what i like about this whole series is, though the plot and pacing are not 5/5 excellent, there’s a lot of familiar…
I am not a fan, of high speed paced police, crime dramas, cause usually that means a lot of chasing, fights, car chases, a lot of noise etc. I want just plot, twists, and conflicted main leads, so I am happy with Shadow Detective in general. The acting also is very good. I'm in the beginning of season 2. In season 1 the pace of the story was ok. Not slow. Is it slow in s2? My only misbelief is how a middle aged man with panick disorder, could run and do all these things. I mean it's surreal. I don't bite it. It's a bit far fetched. We must admit that. How is it possible? It's not. Unless you work out and you're like an athlete sort of. Which he is not.
As far as we know, the Friend was Chairman Jang's idea. So he committed suicide after the last call. The Friend…
I just watched yesterday, ep1 of s2. My guess is from the way Taerok answered the question about how he felt about ceo Jang's suicide, that he felt "relieved, and the way she asked the question, that there's a possibility that he might have killed him or if not Taerok, sbd else, the mastermind as I am reading there is another true mastermind hidden. I mean obviously it's odd enough that he would ever commit suicide. Right? Scumbags never do that. As I said, I only watched episode 1. Finished season 1 yesterday and continued with s2. I knew that I would probably forget s1 after three months, which is awful when watching a police, crime drama.
