Not the best Hu Yi Tian
From the beginning, you could tell the couples were ever going to be together, but yet it took 24 out of 28 episodes for them to come to the same conclusion. I think this was poorly done. I did root for the smart girl Jin bai hui going against her parents, I think they missed us opportunity when she was clearly looking at a positive pregnancy test and lin ze qiu came home. She just put down whatever she was doing so you never got to hear about the brother getting to have a family. And the way he asked her to marry him very sad but much better and much more interesting than the main couple. Although the way they got engaged with much more impressive not a good movie overall I’m sorry I watched it.Was this review helpful to you?

Wall Street drama in Shanghai
This was a good drama to watch, but it’s not available on many platforms and I had to watch it on YouTube but all 41 episodes were there in one piece so that was good. I really felt like I cheered for the heroes and the boys club and by Jing Ting was so cute and young just wanna pat him on the head but he played the awkward geek really well I was surprised by his acting abilities in this. He wasn’t just a heart throw in fact there was no romance, hardly at all and it’s kind of hard to watch the bullying that goes on in the offices in behavior that we as Americans wouldn’t accept, but I thought it was a really good drama. Mark Chao did a fantastic job. Could’ve been a little longer instead of the five minutes they gave it.Was this review helpful to you?
Nosy mother, evolving daughter
Even though I didn’t like the story very much, and Yang zi has been choosing dramas that are more about family, relationships, and development of relationships with parents I thought her acting was some of the best she’s ever done . Xu Kai was playing in his role of executive which he’s done numerous times I didn’t think his role was stretched as much as Yang zi’s role. I think it was great acting with a so/so storyline special props to Nai nai who again was amazing in her role as support! I think her character really helped develop Huan Huans, and Yao’s character and their relationship. I also think that this show really demonstrated well how hard it is for a working family to be able to survive in the city like Shanghai with its rising costs. It also shows the dichotomy between the rich and middle class, which is so inherent in Shanghai. overall, I thought the main storyline was interesting and even the secondary romance was interesting to watch develop in its own set of circumstances, which were not the norm as well. I thought the way the Director handled this was really well done. Normally I skip over the secondary storyline as it’s usually just filler, but in this case, it was developed in a way where you really felt for the male secondary lead and his struggles his character was really well developed as well. You could see him growing from young graduate into a man.Was this review helpful to you?
ok show
The storyline was pretty good for tiny dramas, the female character, wise, fairly strong and smart, which I appreciated. The male character course was gorgeous. The storyline had a few weaknesses and the ending could’ve been longer. I like that the lead male character was strong and decisive, and I think he played his role well the female character seemed either very strong or completely weak. There is no middle ground. The female characters family is hilarious and I especially appreciated the mother character the concubine she really brought a lot of laughter into the show. Was this review helpful to you?
