It's pretty good! The beginning was a bit slow and wang yang doesn't get as much screentime as the other storyline which is kind of frustrating but definitely worth the watch

after watching the one scene in ep 9 I kinda wanna go back and finish war of faith..

I think the worst thing she said is "you've always been running away never coming back to visit me during holidays or new years" but the scene right before I'm pretty sure was a flashback of her accusing her daughter of the dad's death. Yeah that makes a WHOLE lot of sense

they're not similar but I think the romance in this one is much sweeter

he's a gym enthusiast & also a dance teacher at the school anxin (FL) works at in the beginning. It's not really a spoiler because this is in all the teaser content but he ends up being anxin's mom's paid personal trainer to help her lose 100+ lbs.

If you're talking about wan qian's character, ML and her are both Juntong agents. You can wikipedia what that is but essentially both Juntong & communists are anti-japanese but still out to kill each other. So ML is a triple agent in this case. This plot is very similar to disguiser if you've seen that one
