Title He’s into Her Spoiler
actually if you read the book, it's not similar to bof at all. first off,  the FL (maxpein) is supposedly very…
i must add that lorde is a waste of character. if they included maxwell, the gorgeous guest (i talked about few days ago) and max's older brother instead, the story would be much more interesting.

- cant say stepmom is accepting of max in the book. she humiliated max in
the school few times. max is only allowed to call her mrs. moon. nevertheless, she still cares and wishes for max's happiness.
- funny that the kids only found out about that a year after his funeral. randall's dad was the only supporter of randall and max relationship. how ironic. he was also the one who taught max billiards. he was really a father figure for max since the real one is always away.

- i've never found ysay cute in the book. she just doesn't have that vibe. because clings on deib like a damsel in distress wanting to be rescued. deib actually treated ysay as a friend and defended her from the other bullies. but ysay thought deib is her bf haha. after max came, ysay got no attention from deib. hence she wants to kill max but ended up hitting naih.
- lee is much more lovable in the book. he sides for what's right. also one of the few people to befriend max.
- randall broke up with max otherwise all of his family's assets will be taken away by max's stepmom. stepmom knows that randall's dad r*ped max's birth mother. thus stepmom wants to protect max from possible grave pain. also randall's fam dislike max for being a mistress' daughter.

yes!! they literally just
copied the names and changed everything else. supposed the series is only about season 1/3 of the book. but they covered zero moments of that.

i want to reminisce those so i'll just throw it here. excuse my fangirling hahaha
- 1st seasons is about the mysterious aura of maxpein and her being unfit to the elite class.
- maxpein is the definition of poker face even with pasta on all over her body
- she wowed everyone on the acquaintance party because of her excellent dancing skills, plus the gorgeous guest of that night (her kuya btw, no one knows) is her first dance.
- deib discovering kim was cheating with randall, in front of maxpein
- randall kneeling and begging maxpein
- max saving tob and deib from gangsters
- ysay the psycho fangirl of deib
- ysay almost killing naih
- everyone thought lee has a crush on max for the longest time
- they also thought max is married to the gorgeous guest
- max's badass answers to the rude teacher
- kim's jealousy towards maxpein in spite of her cheating.
- max bringing down the school bullies
- max being randall's greatest greatest love
- tagsen going from haters to civil to friends to partners in crime.

Title He’s into Her Spoiler
The trailer makes it look like boys over flowers. It looks super cringey, but it looks fun
actually if you read the book, it's not similar to bof at all. first off,  the FL (maxpein) is supposedly very aloof. in the book, she doesn't care on what's happening in her surroundings. she's always very calm and emotionless, unlike in the trailer. she RARELY smiles because her life is a BULLSHIT. she's also very strong and she fights VERY WELL. while the male lead (deib) isn't like go junpyo.  he's very loud and cheerful. he doesn't try to look cool because his heart is taken. he's courting someone (kim) at the start of the story.  then the story begins with their bickering. it's funny because the male lead tries his best to annoy the girl but she simply shows no interest.

let me tell you some of the twists since you can't understand the book if you're not a filipino:
- the female lead is the greatest love of the sister (dein)'s boyfriend (randall) of the male lead
-the female lead is actually richer that the male lead but she's a daughter of her dad's mistress
- randall and the maxpein broke up because of her step mother and plus randall's dad actually raped the maxpein's mother (the children didn't know this)
- randall and kim had an affair
- maxpein's also a north korean and her family is actually prominent in nk. they hold one of the country's government departments
- deib also has a north korean blood. her grandmother is a chief justice in nk. but her grandmother abandoned nk because it's a rule there that the females are supposed to undergo INTENSE military training especially those who belong in prominent families. her grandmother doesn't want dein to suffer that's why she left nk.
-maxpein has the highest military rank. she's called the Highest Empiry Rank, which is abbreviated as HER. and that's why it's called He's Into Her.

the tv adaptation is very very different to the book. they made the story very cliche. BUT THE BOOK IS LIT.

About narrative/storytelling, yes it's the worst.BRAVO!This will help the writers to know what not to do.
i believe that in examining you can't say "good or "bad".it's just a matter of likes and not likes. because we all have different views. others may find it decent or even good. somehow i think kes expected these mixed reviews because the way she created the drama is unusual. what i mean here is that the plot is not linear, not all explanationd and clues were spoon fed.

There is nothing wrong with criticizing a Drama. Even dramas that are considered masterpieces have their own critics.…
i'm not saying that being #1 in streaming can be an alternative to low tv ratings. they are not comparable. it's just that yes the drama is not doing that well in tv ratings but it's still doing good in other platforms.

critics are welcome that's freedom. but you don't need to support or contradict every long comment that comes out. because honestly even if you own a quarter of comments in this section, you're still not the public. and people come here to see the opinion of the public. some are even afraid of voicing out their opinions because you may attack them and that's disrupting the peace, freedom and purpose of the comment section.

but IF they're not in rok, despite of the chaos it's impossible that not a single soul will recognize the king, their leader who always on the news and internet. so you can tell that they're in rok because no one looked back while running away.

it's useleess to do that. why? because as you said, it is a matter of preferences, meaning we can have different interpretations of the romance scenes. we do have different ideals in romance which can affect in determining whether it's good or bad.

and in your previous reply, i don't think you as "just a hater". because if i thought you as one, i won't even engage with you. as my view of "just a hater" is someone who hates with no reasons but you have your reasons and i know those. thus you're not "just a hater" for me.

i said it before tkem is indeed lacking in tv ratings and i included wavve ratings because it's a streaming app. what i mean here is that not a massive amount of people watch it real time but many koreans still follow and watch it

you know in a survey, one respondent is equals to one questionnaire for the results to be valid. so the validity of the hate for this drama will decrease if same accounts keep repeating themselves everyday

but how about when the time unfreeze? they're still on the same spot but still no one recognized lee gon. so i think it's valid.

then the romance isn't the cup of your tea. but it doesn't mean that the romance is bad just because you can't connect with it. because there are still other viewers who find it logical

that's the problem right here you keep degrading tkem's achievements like it's nothing. don't say that it's just a joke because the fact that you put it here meaning you want someone to know that there's other dramas which had better ppl results and that's belittling tkem

It is sooo fine to like the drama.. don't make it a big deal.. a lot of people come here and express their opinions…
@zanzouna i agree that criticisms are everywhere but let's put it this way. let's say i wore a dress today and you came to me and said you don't like my dress then you stopped by the next day to tell me that you hate the dress i wore yesterday. and you keep coming everyday just to say that you don't really like that dress. that habit is unhealthy tbh.

what i mean here you don't really need to send negative comments daily just to justify that it's bad. because we heard you all loud and clear. besides if you keep doing that some may think your words as a joke and your words may not reach anyone like a pirated dvd full of scratches which keeps replaying the same scene.

if you can use neilsen ratings, am i not allowed to use wavve considering that they also release ratings and a pretty big platform in korea?

i'm very open about criticisms but is ' If you see mostly negative comments, and not much positive comments, maybe this says something about the show?' this valid if criticisms come from the same account everyday?

i'm not saying advertising companies should neglect ratings just because it's popular in sns. just stating that despite of the low ratings, many people still follow, watch and enjoy (based on their sns posts) it.

it's lee gon i'm referring to that people don't recognize when he's in rok

not saying that the love story is realistic that it can happen irl. it's just realistic considering the situations the writer put them to.

It is sooo fine to like the drama.. don't make it a big deal.. a lot of people come here and express their opinions…
but some are attacking the defenders for defending the drama and some are not even criticizing it they're just simply mocking them.. imagine you have a drama you like and some people aren't giving constructive criticisms they're just trashing it.

and i wanted to ask the people who don't like the drama. why do you always comment about it? i mean i see someone who gives negative comments since ep1. i understand you gave it chances but it's still failed you so why don't just drop it instead of having headaches. because we heard you enough that it's bad in your opinion. you know what's funny, this drama is only aired twice a week but negative comments from the same accounts are on daily basis like they think that it's lacking any criticisms
On The King: Eternal Monarch Jun 9, 2020
not all defenders of the drama are blind or just love the show because of the actors. some are pulled because of the plot. they're just voicing their opinions because majority of the regular commenters make it looked like it's the worst kdrama ever where in fact it's not. some make it sound like it doesn't deserve the hype or no true kdrama fan enjoys it and that it's flop. but it's not a flop. it's only flaw is the ratings if we're to talk about success. it's no. 1 in wavve, a korean streaming platform for kdrama, for 8 weeks. products advertised increased their sales. it's trending in twitter and naver from friday night to sunday. is low ratings equals to flop?

now for those who said it's confusing, have you watched it carefully? because if you had, you won't be confused. like the scene where they shot lee lim, it happened in rok because there's sinjae wearing his id meaning the id has credibility in that place which is rok. and no one recognized lee gon in the streets which is only possible in rok. please let me know where do you find it confusing i'll explain if i can

for the forced romance, i don't think it is rushed. for lee gon's side for 25 years the meaning of the id for him is that it's someone whose by his side since he was young, he took it as someone who's always cheering for him and that gives him confidence. curiousity turned into attraction when he found out that she's cooler in person. for tae eul side, it's a mixed of curiosity and amusement in the beginning. but even though he doesn't believe him at first she still cared and worried for him. so when she found out that it's all true she started to open up. they skipped many things because they both knew that they don't have all the time to be in a push and pull relationship. they understood how complicated the situation so they chose not to play with their feelings.
