This series had great potential. It's the last Super Sentai, the series that was supposed to close the franchise. It was meant to be a great tribute, but it didn't have many. And now, with all these problems, I can't enjoy this series anymore. It gave me a really bad feeling, and I'm very sad that the franchise, on its 50th anniversary, had something so bad.
I've never been so happy that they changed the ending of a manga. As an adaptation of the original, Kimiyuki may be weak, but I believe it was a good drama. I loved everything.
One of the best sentais I've ever seen! Impeccable story, incredible fights and captivating characters. I loved King-ohger and I hope there are many more things to come.
I think I finally understand this whole drama: I conclude that Rei's secret was that he tried to kill Hajime because of jealousy when he was a child (Rina liked Hajime and Rei thought Hajime liked her), but how it went wrong and what Rei injured his arm, Hajime was distraught and accidentally killed the teacher in an archery class. Afterwards, he ended up becoming even more tormented, because he was "innocent" in his own view, but he killed 2 more people because they thought he was guilty. During the drama, Hajime kills 3 of the 5 friend group members because they suspected him of the death game. In the end, Rei ends up killing Hajime, recreating the assassination attempt he made when he was a child. I don't think he was responsible for the game, but he was involved. The idea was to reveal Hajime's past to everyone at the end of the game, but since Kaoru was killed, the game didn't go as planned (as Kaoru thought). Kaoru discovers everyone's secrets with Rei's help and he didn't need to worry about having his secret exposed, as he could use Hajime to get rid of Kaoru in a game of "Who's the Killer", which was the idea given by Rei. Rei knew exactly where the last book was, he just needed to take Hajime there and accuse him of killing Kaoru and wait for him to kill the rest of the people in the building. By doing all of this, showing Rina Hajime's true nature, he would not have problems with her later because she would understand that killing Hajime was necessary.
I feel like they tried really hard with this series. It has a good story and an interesting idea, but the execution is so bad that it doesn't work. The characters only exist for half of the show for Ace to remain the center of attention.
I read the manga. The story is not so good and the relationship between the two is troubled. I thought it was going to be something like Pornographer, but it was worse. But the drama seems to follow a lighter direction and without the trace from the manga. It's what I expect. I'm not a fan of stories that are only about sex (even more so when the other party seems uncomfortable). I really hope the drama is better.
