I just watched the last episode and I found it great! Specially the end of the episode. It looks like the drama was the prequel of the dongua. The actor were great, and my favorite was Cheng Xiao Shi but all of them were really good. And it was really hard not to understand He Xu point of view. In his place I guess I could have made some of his choices. Given the power he have, it's seems crueI not to use it to save the people you care about. Hope for a season 2 ?!🤞🥰

I found episode 20 really good. You can sense the beginning of the end of the serie though, and I'm not ready for it 🥹. It's too short. Also, am I the only one who was surprised by Doctor He behavior ?
No, you don’t have to watch the 1st season to understand this one. But it might be better. Personally, I didn’t finish the first one and I’m doing okay.
