One thing they need to do better is the time skips because I'm lost on how long it has been between events. Like…
Yeah I totally get what you mean, in the books they are better at making us feel that sensation of time passing because you actually get to read about the period when Pat and Jeng were almost cut off from each other and how Pat came to realize just how much of an important place Jeng occupied in his life. I think this episode lack this transition period with the realization, missing, pinning, and finally explosion of feelings. But to be fair the book is as thick as a brick with lots of details so they have to compress several chapters covering a relatively long period of time in such a short episode, so overall I think it's quite well done.
I've read the novel and i really want to spoil you but i know that a lot of people don't like that. But from what…
As for Vegas, his main goal in life is to go after people and things that Kinn have because he has always been compared to him wich made him extremely jealous and competitive since childhood. To the point that he literally fu** with all of Kinn's sexual partners before Kinn get them even though they absolutely don't have the same preference in men, Vegas likes them manly whereas Kinn prefer the cute type. That why in the novel he was so enthusiastic about Porsche, because he is totally his type and having him can make Kinn loose his mind. His story with Pete began in the most toxic way possible but he eventually try to redeem himself when he understand that he could really loose Pete. His family is of course not the only one trying to take the main family down but they are the initiators of most of the trouble

Well in fact Porsche's parents weren't mafia per se but his mom was the adopted sister of Korn (Kinn's father) and Khan (Vegas' father) and they were really close, she and her husband still had lawful business dealing with the family mafia even though she married out of it. So technically Kinn and Porsche are cousin but not by blood and the death of Porsche parents has everything to do with these two brothers, in the novel it's said that one of the two killed the husband but it is never really made clear as to who exactly pulled the trigger and Porsche saw everything but don't remember. Then Porsche's mother killed herself after being raped by Khan who had always loved her more than a sister.
This was a good episode. Now I am more than intrigued with Kin/Chay and Big something is up and I wonder if Porsche/Chay's…

his part in the book wasn't detailed. kim and chay just appeared magically and became boyfriends. and he basically…
I think it may be by him that the story of Porsche parents and their link with the main and branch families is reveal. He seems to be investigating something that happen a long time ago. Dunno if i'm right🤔
