It just breaks my heart for how much our society is biased against mental illness and its more heartbreaking that even the psychiatrist can't see if someone is mentally ill or not just because s/he isn't going to his/her therapy and this show perfectly demonstrates it and it shows how deep one's words can cut. Everyone be healthy both physically and mentally. Worth it for me a total 10/10 but it may not be for everyone.
can you stop saying whole story in comment? it was a great watch for me tbh, i mostly skipped those 35-39 episodes cause of you know what but mental illness isn't widely accepted and people easily judge which makes treatment even harder so i can understand why it was kept hidden, misunderstanding can be solved(sooner or later) but suicidal thoughts and mental illness ain't like that if you delay god knows what happens so you have to understand and like i said even i skipped those cause i hate feeling pain but maybe someone who needs real help (IRL) may take it as motivation. SKIP those part and you can still enjoy those :)

i nearly dropped because of this very comment but gave it a try and was always comparing if he really was bad but thank god i gave it a chance and the 1st ML was actually not despicable as his father. Father was really bad and had worst past and worst dealing with those things but ML ain't that bad. so Give it a go.

he won't say directly but when she asks him he remembers and it is shown as he fell in love long before they even became desk mates (when he helped her while she was gonna fall. During the scene she was cleaning window by climbing the desk). Not entirely sure so if i am wrong correct me.
it is just okay drama for me. I was skipping a lot and just saw through cause it got boring and the ending was happy but I just couldn't accept it. what happened to them after they left? they were so patriotic but what happened to Japanese and patriotism in the end? just thought I wasted a lot of time in it and after a time got boring.
