I remember this list because I posted about it here. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Gusu Bunny’s post. I guess what I’ve learned from all of this is that high view count does does not always equate to international popularity.

This is so shocking considering how I keep hearing that Youku has traditionally low view counts amongst all the streaming platforms. 💗💗💗💗

Slight sidetrack to another danmei novel: Golden Stage. Oh my gosh, this novel is so romantic! YanFu are both so ruthless (to others) and so devoted to each other. There are so many romantic scenes that will now live rent free in my head. Maybe it’s the arranged marriage trope or maybe it’s the wonderful translation that’s allowing me to fly through this book. I hope it inspires me to finish Qi Ye, start Sha Po Lang and maybe one day read Tian Ya Ke.

I’m excited to hear their own voices.🙂
