Cdrama watcher, semi-mandarin fluent but Chinese illiterate. I love healthy relationships and pretty humans. I prefer costumed dramas and have an especially soft spot for gender role reversals.

I've noticed I clearly rate very differently than the rest of MDL so a little clarification:

I like using the entire range of rating values to note down my very subjective opinions of shows.

A 5, to me, means perfectly watchable and okay. Anything below is either bad or a struggle to get through. Anything above is better than average. And I don't like giving 10s. Anything completed without a rating is not actually a completed story so I can't rate it.

A 10, to me, is "I'll die on this hill and defend its flaws."

A 9.5, to me, is "It's my ride or die, but I won't defend its flaws."
