All i want is Immortality to deliver a happy ending, lol. That is my only expectation from them.

This very thoughtful review with its critiques was much better than the first impressions review. I had one of those ??!!! moments when the reviewer said the acting was on the weak side. To me that was always its biggest strength.

I’m on my second full re-watch.

I can’t wait to watch Happy Camp. There was not enough of them in Ace vs Ace.

The part that really made me roll my eyes was when LYX’s character “dies.” (Did he fall off a cliff? I forgot, lol). He comes back assuming a different identity, but nothing has changed- looks, mannerisms, clothing.

Again, I don’t fault the cast, I blame the script & director for wasting a terrific cast.

I’m on my 2nd re-watch. I have to skip through most of ep. 35. It’s too hard to watch.

I promise you WKX is not dead. They both became immortals via the the technique Ye Bai Yi taught them. (It does like kinda weird because they edited scenes to create this happy ending. The bad ending was supposed to be ZZH surviving & hallucinating that WKX is alive.)
There 2 obvious signs that they are alive:
1. Deng Kun’s son learning the sword move taught only by WKX’s father. WKX demonstrated those sword moves when he confronted Zhao Jing at the heroes conference.
2. Deng Kun telling his son to go eat because who knows when the fight between these immortals will end.
If you want to laugh, the reason they are fighting is to decide who gets to be the top or the bottom. Our immortal couple are ridiculously in love & scandalous as ever. ;)

This is why I am worried about Immortality. I tried twice to finish And the Winner is Love, but I couldn’t. I can’t tell if it’s the director or writer’s fault or both. Did you watch And the Winner is Love? But I’m going to stick w/ Immortality. But I really need Immortality to have an HE.

Does it have a bad ending ?

Yes!

Bai Yu was in Love O2O, not JBR. I skimmed SWL’s drama w/ Ju Jing Yi. SWL was the weak spot in Go Ahead, which I dropped.

Do you know how long the wait is for Eng. subs?

I don’t watch Republican era dramas either. I have a few other BL dramas on my list, but i like costume BLs best.

I can’t wait for Immortality & rooting for it to do well. I’m hoping that the more BL dramas that come out, the more it will be acceptable by censors, with proper HE.

I’m a fan of him too! I liked that he was not afraid to play a villain. But his character arc was just stupid.

WoH has bewitched us all! I’m really thankful that production team could pull off the HE for us!
