Wow. Wen You became director? I can’t wait to find out what underhanded trick help him get the title. This just…
I don’t think he turns bad. I think he’s a double agent. He may have cut her tendons but not enough to disable. It’s possibly all an act to stay close to the prime minister. He wants to help QH get her revenge so that he can pay back what he owes her for what he did.
That’s a tough question. We don’t know yet. They get married in ep. 28 but QH has not confessed her love yet.
This would explain their wardrobe change and thus begin the last arc of the story.
I liked WY at first, but I was never invested in him as a love interest for QH. I was always rooting for the gentle LF. After WY’s forced marriage, I didn’t like him at all. He was too self-absorbed in self pity, acting like he was the only who suffered the most, who had sacrificed the most.
I still think he’s going to die, whether it’s due to him trying to save QH (because i don’t believe he has let go of her) or himself. He’s the tragic SML that will die trying to gain redemption.
I concur with what KawaiiKiwichan said. I stopped around ep. 7 for awhile and then re-picked it up this week. It’s overwhelming at first because you are introduced to so many characters. Stay with it. To me, it’s worth watching. It’s definitely a slow burn romance for the main couple but I think the payoff will be worth the wait.
It was really sweet that LF missed her after being away from QH for half a day. It must be such a relief to him to be able to express his feeling for her openly now. Looking forward to seeing more of the romantic and playful side of our OTP.
Episode 29 preview of SML cutting FL with his sword....what the! He must have swallowed a whole bottle of bitter…

It was terrible watching Qing Hong mourn. I felt so bad for her, but it was really sweet how supportive and loving…
The grief was so palpable. I cried along with QH. I liked how the episode ended, with LF offering her advice on how to handle grief and then QH symbolically letting her family go by releasing the lanterns with LF by her side. The scene was powerful and poignant.
Have I seen to many dramas to believe this? Lol.
