I’ve only completed 2 xianxia w/o skipping: TSL and Love Between Fairy and Devil.

For Wuxi’s try Jin Rong’s Condor trilogy. They all have happy endings. CXX is in Legend of the Condor Heroes. Though his character has a deservedly BE, his character is very compelling .

Yes! MYQ is the most well-rouged of the shards and CXX must have had fun playing him. In the drama, I think Romantic Rosebud observed that their interactions most resemble how YT/YQ are in their HE: fun, funny, sweet, and supportive.
