I’ve already seen it. If YT dies in ep. 39, then maybe we will get a full HE in ep. 40. The writers can’t spend all time having everyone figure out how to revive the sisters.
I want a revival of the sisters not a re-birth. If it’s a rebirth, we will have to see their father die, though he might reincarnate to be their father again. Mainly, I don’t want Chaofeng & Youqin to endure all those years of sadness & loneliness.
I sobbed my way through ep. 37 & 38. I love YT & YQ so much. I love how much they love each other.

The fight scene between YT & YQ was so well done & I will rewatch. YT is desperate to hep YQ remember & YQ is desperate to figure out what’s going on. So much is going through his mind as he’s fighting. In the end, he let his heart rule & didn’t kill her. He was right. It is difficult to forget the love.
I keep thinking back of the moment that YQ knew that the 2 sisters were switched. If this was a different drama, that reveal could have gone sideways. The writers didn’t drag it out & have YQ blame YT for not telling the truth earlier. YQ & YT are 2 adults & acting like like adults. The conflicts they face are all external & most importantly, they face it together. That’s so refreshing to me.
I don’t know why but after watching that, I think YK is pretending to lose his precious memories. What better way to protect YT than to be closest to the enemy, aka the emperor
