Negotiators use shaming and guilting because the situation is desperate and dangerous. It is not a good enough intervention to completely change someones mind about suicide or help them with their depression.
"Don't commit suicide, its selfish and hurts the people around you. If you commit suicide you are hurting them blah blah blah" aka thinking about literally everyone BUT the suicidal person. Suicidal people don't need shame and guilt they need HELP.
Guilting people in to not committing suicide by "thinking of the family" is manipulation and does not help them what so ever. Suicidal people need support systems and psychological help, not shame and guilt.
You can't be serious right? Dude, THE WHOLE PURPOSE of the show was to make YeeJae realize what he did wrong.....HE…
With that logic it's selfish for everyone else around him to want him to stay alive and suffer with severe depression/pain. He did what he believed he needed to especially in a society that won't help him.
As an action/thriller drama, this was really great. However, the message they tried to show was not well done at all in my opinion, more harmful if anything
Can somebody tell me if it gets more interesting/slightly more mature after ep 2? I watched the first two eps since I saw it has such a high rating buts its so childish and kinda cringe so far
The amount of people that gave this drama a low rating because they were stupid enough to ignore the warnings is INSANE "Its so dark and triggering :((((" No shit it's 16+ and has violence and SA violence warnings for a reason!!!!!
