I started, but didn't go much further than Hangul and learning actual pronunciation of the most common words.

With Chinese it's funny because before watching anything it sounded like a really weird 'bird' language wherever I would hear it in real life or news. After a couple of dramas Chinese sounds absolutely normal :D
