1. YXW??? Is that you??? CJM's eyes practically begging LSS to say that she's indeed YXW. He coaxes her to stay, and then tells her the story of MY SJ, much to her annoyance (cos LSS is angry with MY for bottling up his feelings without telling SJ). CJM then tricks her by saying they should go look for XL. She leaves in tears, saying she doesn't want him to recognise her yet 😭
2. Immortals fight JM, who was actually a decoy for SY to retrieve the Bone Refining Seal (BRS).
3. CJM comes to the rescue and tries to thwart SY's efforts. Their fights scenes are flawless. Kudos to SY for practicing hard with the 4kg umbrella.
4. The BRS recognises the devil fetus and is absorbed into CJM's body. Meanwhile, DM is released!
5. Now it's LSS's turn to rescue CJM and we get to see their forehead-to-forehead love language ❤
6. DM arrives at HengYang and is formally introduced by Chief Qu as the sperm donor.
7. Ugh Mo Nv seriously I don't want to see your face...
8. CJM tells LSS what he's been doing for the past 500 years. LSS feels sad but she faked her feelings and basically told CJM to buzz off. Dude leaves in tears, LSS is also in tears 😭😭

I rarely watch modern dramas, and probably only saw a few. I'm gonna go with Meteor Garden Taiwanese version cos that drama helped me improve my Mandarin (back then when it aired I watched it 7x and memorised almost all the lines and identified the chinese characters)
