It could've been more? Left me feeling a little empty.

1) LMX died and then what? No scenes of his funeral or at least HY DZY mourning him?
2) Where is Emperor HZY now?
3) DJH and YQ where are they now?
4) LB/MB just followed the guards without a fight, so did he really die a painful one or what? Also what happens to MS? Was she really so knowledgeable to heal HY? Since she only liked to eat...

So many unanswered questions.

Yes the actors saved the drama, everything else was so mediocre.

I saw the special episode in xhs. Some kind soul already posted last night. I don't believe in paying extra cos Youku is already robbing us since TTEOTM.

LOA wasn't the best but I still liked it and it would've been nicer to get all the special scenes in the actual drama and not in special (paid) episodes.

Yes his life was sad from beginning to the end, LYX did a superb job 🥰

We love the CGI, OST, fight scenes, costumes etc too so much so that other dramas which aired after TTEOTM (especially CGI) pales in comparison 🙃
