My speculation of him dying is based on the fact that he had a lot of screen time today. And usually that doesn’t happen in a show unless they decide to kill that character. Also his story was also progressing. Which to be honest doesn’t make a point as he doesn’t need a relationship. So if he dies the audience will feel more sad.

The FL is just keeping the ML by the hook. If she isn’t interested in him she should just put it out instead of making him jealous. This is my thought about her till ep 4.
