The Fiery Priest is one of the best rated Kdrama (as per Korean Broadcasting). It is very hard to top that in Korea. But this drama can gain him International fan following because of Netflix.

Currently you can say that he is mid. Not too powerful. Nor too weak. But the power he has is from his childhood 6-7 age.But he is said to have 1 of the 8 most powerful present power. Which he denied and hasn’t shown yet. And there is a guy who does divination and all. He said that he is part of some huge incident in the past and his actions will change the life of many. So he will become OP maybe at the last ep of this season. But he is like you can say a top genius. As he mastered techniques at a very very young age. The second season is planned to shoot from Oct so yes maybe we see his real potential in that drama. Currently he is mid at best. But he is a character. He never acts as an overconfident guy. In fact he has lived as a guy who doesn’t have any powers since he was like 7 so he has immense amount of patience. He would try to butter someone up or beat them when they are down if he knows he can’t beat that person.

MC is a genius but the power he has is basically the same as when he was 6-7. Since he hasn’t trained after that. And I bet he will be crazy strong in the end.
