This is definitely not going to be a romance between the leads. Even in slow paced dramas the couple end up together at around 10-12 ep. The FL here still likes the 2ML. And the ML also hasn’t shown that much feelings towards her. It would be forced if they get together at like the last episode. On the other hand the FL and 2ML both like each other. So there are more chances there.

I think it is building up as FL with 2ML. They are similar too. Both of them lost there mother due to the Assemblyman being involved.

Yeah she can be a act first think later person. But she didn’t had much of a choice when she got in the car. Otherwise he would have got the wrong intention about her. And she was pretty clever to tell her presence during the call.

Stupidest things as in?

Yeah the writers have tried to ease her character with her scene with the FL. But she still feels like a trash reporter who could be 1 of the victims.

MLL has more popular actors and Chinese dramas are usually not known for mature romance genre. The thing about rating could very well be said about 80-90% of the school romcom Chinese dramas also.
