It is a popular series in Korea. With great ratings. So it can definitely have another season. Since dramas like this and Taxi Driver don’t exactly need much to release another season. You just need to make the villain stronger and keep releasing it until people gets fed up.

I haven’t seen undateables but his character in Gong Shim was also pretty similar to the type of characters he choose. Funny/weird/Mysterious. And I think it was more to do with the script than his character in those dramas. This time around he has chosen to act in a potential sad drama which has good script. Let’s see how it goes. But it wouldn’t be easy. Since The First Responders is also airing fri & sat. And it was a big success in its first season. It even won the rating battle in the first week.
