If it was shown that she did it for necessity and not love then I think that wouldn’t have aligned with her image (the scholar). They just needed to clear her so the FL can sweep the ML later on. And I personally wasn’t feeling much chemistry between Yimei and ML. She was somehow similar to ML as they studied under her father. So it was boring.

Yeah the usual target for rom coms are younger audience.

I don’t think it is for an old audience. The actors surely will pull old audience but the genre of the drama so far has been RomCom. Which will probably change to action/thriller in the second half.

Alchemy of Souls (Probably one of the best kdramas of all time) is his only good drama as a first/main ML.

I don’t see the need of 2ML trying to pursue the FL midway through the drama. I could see it coming and I definitely don’t like this. These tropes are usually to make the opposite party jealous. But ML has been loud and clear that he likes the FL. Then shouldn’t it be the FL who should feel jealous after the introduction of another woman around ML and be true to her feelings. What is even the point of making ML jealous.

If it is Game Caterers for another company he won’t be present in it 😅. Like he wasn’t present in either the JYP or HYBE’s one. Why would his company even allow to boost other company’s artists.
