Only selected rom com gets a high ratings. Rest all have mediocre rating. On the other hand melodrama gets a high rating on avg in Korea. And this is a JTBC drama who are like the top dogs in Melodrama with TVN.So considering all those 2.5 is a pretty low rating.

What are you saying. Melodrama are more popular in Korea than rom com. Most of the top rated dramas are melodrama. (The world of the married,the penthouse, sky castle)

Alchemy of soul is well received by International. It does have a pretty decent rating in Korea. But I would say that 8 to 10% rating of a TVN drama is pretty normal nowadays considering the quality of dramas, they have produced in the past few years. well, we can’t compare the interest of love with alchemy of souls. but I would still say that 2 .5% rating is pretty low. Considering that dramas these days get an average rating of 4% around.

I don’t think she is trying to please others. She is only nice to the ML and FL. She like the ML and someone once pointed out in the comments before that she is being nice to the FL because she wants to keep her close as ML likes her. But after seeing the 5th episode I don’t think that is the point as she is genuinely worried about the FL. It might change in the future though.

Only 2.5%. Than that is pretty bad.

Can someone recommend me similar dramas where the FL is as straightforward while chasing the ML. (Dramas like -It’s ok to not be ok for example)

The drama was already going to be divided into 2 seasons. Not many people enjoy watching more than 20 episodes of a Kdrama. And short dramas are a thing now.

Well Short 8 eps dramas are becoming a thing. And an open ending to the first season will keep the viewer thinking and hyped about the second season.

I don’t thinks she knows he likes the FL. I think the ML has given a lot of green flags to the SFL. Like eating together multiple times and going out on a weekend. And with all the talking in between work. Plus the SFL has that type of outgoing personality.
