I think ok taec Yeon is the chairman that was playing the ice hockey. As he has the same second name as the head of the babel. Also a mere assistant doesn't do justice to his personality. He might be there as he has feelings for the FL. And so he doesn't wanted her to get in between Babel and her dad basically.(3rd ep preview)
