Yo, what's your problem? If I know Japanese, I won't need subs. I am thankful that anyone does any subbing at all. If you think you can do better subs, then just do it. No need to be hatin' on people. I have enjoyed many dramas that have been subbed by ECOTVsubs and I never had a problem understanding what's going on in the dramas. I never expected any translation to be 'perfect' in context of dramas/films because no translation can ever be 'perfect'.
I understand that some meaning and nuances can only be understood perfectly if one understands that particular language and culture which the language is attached to but I don't watch dramas/films to learn languages. I accept that I don't understand Japanese thereforeI will miss a lot of the nuances involved . As long as I generally understand the story from A-Z, I am happy. If I need to probe deeper, I'll ask anyone who knows the language.
