Her action of 20 years ago still affected them till present
Sang tae being afraid of butterfly
K moon yeon being afraid that her mother will come back and control her and take her happiness easily

Childhood trauma unless not faced it does remain with you be it in dreams or some unconscious thoughts.. the way they showed how sang tae had butterfly nightmares which made them move from one place to other and ko moon yeon having sleep paralysis

And even if it was 20 years ago that she killed the brothers mom... it affected the life of the brothers

Her words to her mother when she saw her in jail “I wont. Become like you” itself is strong

Just like the 1 st ep fairytale story of boy with nightmares moral and the real face story of ep 16
This show showed how they overcome thier trauma, troubles.. and face them and move on

We are getting season 2, right? Because that really didn't make sense.I should have kept this in mind that afterall…
People just came up with many theories
It doesn’t mean they are true
The director oh wiped her blood as a sign of concern as she was bleeding and knows she is a maniac Patient
Just what a doctor would do

She was not thrown in river
Mostly a hallucination Of father as his brain tumour symptoms had started from then and distorted memory of moon yeon
After she fell he locked her in the basement
Moon yeon opened the basement, saw her mom body n ran away
The mother must have become conscious n then fled
She did plastic surgery as she Was a famous novelist so people knew her
She had to hide as she committed murder, plan revenge on the father to try to kill her

The script the publishers assistant found it.. she was going to give it to him later after making him worry for some time as she is tired the way he treats her

And he may just publish it as it’s the most awaited book
That’s it...

For the mother thing...

how the heck do people pick their all time favorite dramas when good ones like this come into exsistance? i still…
As long both are in your top 5 lol
Both r amazing kdrama for sure
IOTNBO my favourite ..best healing , light on mental health , character development romcom drama, amazing sizzling chemistry
Cloy being amazing for having a different kind of plot, well executed from start to end, showing culture of north and South Korea and a amazing chemistry

And both having amazing ost and top actors
If I ever have to recommend kdrama to anyone I will always mention these 2

I don’t understand why some reviews have this drama a high rating of 10, when they “dropped” it anyway?…
Some dropped
Many Many loved it and hence given 10
It’s different than many other kdrama out there!
I can say this after watching like 1000 Asian dramas lol
If people were just blindly fan of kdrama or actors they should give all drama 10 in this forum
Being top 10 in 29 countries, top 1 in 11 country on Netflix for a kdrama itself broke a record
Highly buzzed kdrama in Korea for 7 weeks
Call it overhyped but it deserves it
Many loved it hence it has good ratings and popular
Different people have different opinion and taste
For me I found goblin Little boring thou it was highly popular so it’s fine

I actually don't think that he considered his brother as a burden tbh they had a relationship where he was the…
The car splitting meant sang tae has become INDEPENDENT as can now work and do something on his own
All his life he had dependent on kang tae for everything
Kang tae devoting his whole life for his brother, from moving due to sang tae’s trauma , taking a psychiatric community health worker job that he be transferred easily and help his brother too

Now he can do things for himself too
And they are not going on a trip forever
While on camping trip ..it would be good for moon yeon to get more idea and clear her head if she wanted to keep writing. While kang tae can prepare for his college entrance exam so that he can try new things while spending time with family and sang tae practising more drawing

As sang tae goes with the publisher to work.. as he has become independent
Kang tae and moon yeon continue the journey
They will come back
They never said they r r separating or leaving city or any sort.. just travelling for some time

I was completely satisfied with ending, but one thing which bothered me was the head nurse/mother part. But I got…
Yes I agree !!
I loved the cctv part
But later in confrontation part after talking when she kept smiling with that background music

I was like okay maniac personality maniac personality that’s it

Sang tae hitting her was a surprise and the best feeling!
When she went in that police car I am like yesss done! 15 and 16 ep belong to the characters
And I loved it how it was handeled beautifully with gang tae not leaving moon yeon side, taking a psychiatric consultation and talking about this problem, sang tae giving advice with dianosaur reference and then kang tae saying the truth about his emotion and how they can overcome it all
It brought back the beauty of this drama
And I was satisfied when moon yeon goes to the police to have A talk to her mother and tell her she won’t be like her
Showing that has become stronger and better people to protect her

I was completely satisfied with ending, but one thing which bothered me was the head nurse/mother part. But I got…
True.. there are loopholes
In an interview the director says it too that viewers will hav many question
But it’s good that it only concern the mother being alive n nothing else (if moon yeon would be curious of why her mother is alive then we could get the answer.. but her priority was to save her new family from her and not why she came back, so again a reason why we didn’t get a explanation for that part)
Everything else well sorted and best from start to end with clear message and character growth.

The problem being there was no 3rd party narrator of the story

Just distorted memories of what the character thinks or he /she portrays it
Anyways it a character driven drama
And I was really really happy that they didn’t stretch the mother thing (yes many question)
The encounter ended well
And her extreme action answers is due to her personality
If those wierd theories of twin sister, sang tae moon yeon being sibling , concubine and shitz
It will sound fascinating at first but end of the day it would become a wierd soap opera as u said and wierdly melodramatic and out of the reality...totally out of context of healing genre
More of suspense, thriller genre

Leads can’t be killed true lol

As I said.. she wanted to see the choosing thing..
She tells that tooo to kang tae
After injecting the anaesthetic she was just talking to him as he fumbled.. she didn’t grab a knife or something to e ready to kill him

But seeing moon yeon caring for someone else irritated her knowing she is a failure hence her emotions went into extreme and she was ready to kill her

Just like how extremely angry she got when kang tae mother made that statement
So she killed her the same day

She had many many chances in the hospital itself if she wanted to kill the brothers

With extreme emotion extreme action

Hmm true
Well she was not sure that sang won’t tell at all
But she wanted to have a new identity
And she was a famous writer too and her death /dissapeance was huge news
So maybe for that too

I was completely satisfied with ending, but one thing which bothered me was the head nurse/mother part. But I got…
Why poison
She wanted the 3 to be there
She wanted the scene of gang tae having to choose between them
She knows she can’t fight back gang tae..and he is not going to kill her anyway so just give the anaesthetic and wait for moon yeon

Ofcourse she didn’t hesitate to kill kang tae mom as one comment negative about er daughter was enough

She wasn’t a normal person
She was a maniac
Hence this sudden change of emotion and action can be explained

Plastic surgery.. to hide herself
1 obviously for the murder
2 to have a new identity so that she can keep a check on the father and see him die as that’s what gave her plain joy and revenge for trying to kill her

The doctor oh ji was called the police after the butterfly mural and cctv
And they were finding her till they knew she was at the castle
.. she was caught there not for the murder.... but for false identity in the hospital and threatening people and the patient (father)
..that’s a crime too
Later it must have investigated about the murder Too
(Not very sure about that unless they proved it as the satutory limit of the murder could have exceeded as it happened long time back and can be reopened only if someone files a case)

I was completely satisfied with ending, but one thing which bothered me was the head nurse/mother part. But I got…
Her plan was to manipulate...
She thought moon yeon will be at the castle
She drugged sang tae and got him there

Then she wanted to call gang tae
And ask him to choose between sang tae and moon yeon

She knew he will obviously choose his brother.. and by this answer she can show moon yeon reality that she should not rely or like anyone but just be like her mother as no one loves her more than her

That’s why when gang tae comes to castle she is like “it’s sad moon yeon is not here”

She then tries to manipulate kang tae telling him the story of why she killed his mother and how the reason is moon yeon.. hoping he will hate her, or even if kills her moon yeon will resent him and leave him

Her plan from the start is to manipulate

Seeing kang tae answer and stopping midway while strangling her she gets to know he is a coward so injects him with the anaesthetic drug as she knows he is not going to kill her so she better does it

As moon yeon comes and confront her
She is disappointed how she is so worried for kang tae and sang tae
And utter failure of the art she created

So better just die as she is a failure

She is a maniac, psycho in terms of psychology

Finished ep 13 ..I knew that nurse will turn out to be the mom.. Using someone unexpected is a common kdrama plot..…
Yes mom plots are common but its fun with every viewer trying there best to suspect who is the mother And million theories and later judging the nurse wierd actions
Thou this was not some thriller suspense drama but made people so invested in that part
And even when it’s revealed.. her flipped crazy acting is mind blowing
